I've been doing a lot of research on enclosures and modeling a ton of them using winISD and been having a ton of fun with it! I ran into an issue however when trying to design my 6th order enclosure for my wall build, I am planning on 8x15s and trying to find some kind of way to model this enclosure, winISD is assuming that I have both ports going out of the enclosure, but I want to do a wall just like all the heavy hitters do for a 6th order, where they have a ported rear chamber that ports into the front chamber which also has a port.
I thought to myself that maybe I could just use the winISD model to design the rear chamber/port, but then I found that there's like no information out there on how these guys are tuning these walls, I see TONS of builds where it's a ported rear enclosure with a b-pillar wall and the guy has some kind of 37"x20" opening with what seems to be like a 4" vent length, whenever I attempt to model something similarly on winISD it tells me that I need insane vent lengths to achieve an opening like that, and also that I have basically no velocity at all, probably makes sense given the mouth opening, but i'm genuinely struggling to comprehend how these guys are modeling these, or if it's literally just a "hope it works, and if not be ready to screw more wood panels on" angle.
