I was gonna order a Hifonics but people have mixed opinions about them. Because they don't put out rated power and their trash amps, etc. But if it comes down to it I might just get it.

All I'm looking for is a efficient amp to power my D1 SSD @ 2ohms. Under $250

Some are better than others. Like the Sundown vs RF thread I saw a little while back. The Saz-1500 put out rated power and sucked up less voltage than the RF 1000.1 putting out rated power. The only reason I'm worried is because my electrical is stock and my alternator is only 70amps so the more efficient the better.

I'm aware of that. I meant a 1 ohm stable amp that would put out what I need @ 2ohms. Think the SSD can take 1000 all day with just copper coils and easy on the gains?

I was looking at the kicker zx750.1 Its under-rated @ 2ohm. So it puts out 850 or so.

Topic... Looking for a good 1/2 ohm stable mono amp that will put out a clean 800-1000 rms @ 2ohm. It can't be a power hog (has to be efficient) and under $250.
