yea thats the HU, ive been told that there are some mixed reviews on the HU. anything bad i should know about. for one i can get it for $220 is this to much to spend on this HU

so I have come across this HU, does anyone know if it is a good HU???? any help will be great, i currently have a jensen flip screen

I ordered 16 5.25'' woofers that were on sale for $5 a woofer and i couldnt pass it up. well now that i got the box in my room a thought had hit me to do something for fun. make a wall in my single cab truck with 16 of these woofers and put about 600rms to them and see how it sounds. Im not looking for anything amazing but if it sounds like a nice 8'' subwoofer i would be tickled to death. I'm currently getting things ready for my actual build of 2 10'' subs off of 2000rms with a sundown 2000d. (I have vids in the vid section "not right for 2 10'') it will be louder then that set up hopefully. anyway, what do yall think this will sound like, kinda ok or just plain garbage. either way is fine because im gone plan on doing it for just fun and to have some funny pics to post. here is the woofers, they just so little lmao

Im getting two 10'' subs made by forevrbumpn on smd and gone throw a 3500d to them. at first im gone run about 1000rms to them each and then see how things go from there, also getting two extra recone kits for them just incase something may happen :01nocomment8so: other then that, the main diff is ill have new alt and batt and diff subs in this set up. allong with making the box look better.

i have a design in my head for the middle seat thing if it came down to it, but ill try the hood first. thanks for you imput

I ran this amp a few months back in my truck with 2 10'' AQ subs on stock electrical and did a 146.3 on the TL . that was with the box at 33hz way under tuning, i then put it at 37hz and was much louder, (very big diff) but never got it re metered as i had to sell everything. my question is, what kinda of power would i need to properly back this amp up running a good 25000rms out of it if not 3000rms at comps. What is a good alt (ive hurd DC is good, but is it worth the money???) aslo, what battery should i run, i know there is a ton out there. would it be ok if i replaced my stock battery with the audio batter and thats it for my batteries, reason for this is because i have no room in truck for multiple batts. thanks guys, here kinda what im working with. ok so i would love to wrap my box and make it look good finally, i do not like the carpet i have on the box and it was jut a quick thing i did so it wouldnt be plain wood in the truck. I have seen steve wrap his box and would like to know what he used if anyone knows, and how to go by doing it. I have thought about doing something like this for a while and when i seen Steve finish project i loved it. thanks guys here a pic to get an idea of how it looks. would like to wrap the whole box and perhaps in two diff colors.

I know how to shoot, been shooting guns all my life, but I have never went and got one before. So this would be my first firearm thats mine. kinda like a kid in a candy store, i see 200 guns laying out i want them all lmao

well we all know how some things are going with guns and how there are so many stories out there on things. few example ill give yall 1. how they may put a code on each bullet 2. how they may put something in the bullets so they go bad after a certain period of time 3. just plain cant get a gun anymore 4. raise gun prices on us 5. When your gun is registered and say a bill passes so we cant have a gun anymore, they can track your gun down and come to your house to get the gun. i dont know, these are just things that i have hurd but I do know that they are trying to mess around with the gun issues pretty bad. I live in Alabama and if you dont have a gun its like not having any pants on. Im about to be getting me a 45 next month before the prices get jacked up again, as bullets have already seen a 50% increase in prices at this point. box of 50 is $20 and 100 is $40, whereas it use to be a box of 100 at $20. i would like to know other opinions on this, and if you have more info that i dont know please share with me.

yeah man im working something out with one of the SMD guys on here. gone build me 2 10'' kevlar subs on triple stack mags. gone be doing 1000rms each on them. gone use same box but gone wrap it in something nice, new a-pilars, new batt, alt, new amp. its gone be nice

hey guys, well i guess im gone do a quick vent and short story here and share with yall. I was working at a library at night for 20 hours a week during my school. (im in college) well they kept reducing our hours every month till it got to around 15hrs a week. this didnt hurt me to bad until i had to stop my second job i had. So instead of getting 25hrs a week, i started to get 15 a week. I had to sell all of my audio stuff out of my truck bc i couldnt affort the payments anymore. I then went a good 4 months like this wihich was very hard, couldnt eat to high of food, allot of mcdonals $1 shit, and just enough to have for gas. I finally got a new job. It is great, I get $8 an hour and they get me my 20 hours a week like i wanted. I also get to work 40hours a week in summer. so my $400 a month has turned into $910 a month now. A great different for me. "what i didnt tell you about this new job is i dont do anything, just answer few phone calls and thats it. i get to study and do my homework while im working and everything. its like getting paid to do my school work, so thats the big upside for me" so during school im working 30hrs week and during summer ill wokr 50hours week. allot better from my 15hrs a week i was working. thanks for reading guys, mike

well, as of the past summer i had sold all of my audioque subs and amp due to lack of hours at work. now im back with a new job, more money and ready to get back into the audio again. I have the sub box as before with the big 3 4'' aero ports coming out in the single cab truck. But for the first time im going to be getting some subwoofers from foreverbumpin if all goes well. this is what im gone try and get and see what the performance will be like on them . kevlar cone (yellow) triple stack mag chrome basket 3'' coil I have always gone with Fi, and AQ but i wanted to try some a little different. and if they do a higher number the the AQ subs then that would just make my day i believe . just thought ill share this info with yall, im just happy im back into the audio

one of my buddies on smd helped me learn how. there is a thread on how to make on, search it and u should fine it eventually. not hard at all to make, if u passed the 5th grade you should be fine haha. only thing is t-line boxes can get big

ok guys dont laugh, but i said i would post a decent vid of this sub. its in a T-line box with a Fs:45, port lengh and sqin are correct in box. sounds pretty good for 1 5'' . was wanting to do 4 of them in t-line but not sure how to get them all the same port length and have room. i can do 2 in tline no prob. lol let me know what u think. and ive had pep listen to is, they all said there was a 8'' sub with around 200-250watts to it. and was shocked to see the 5'' :01nocomment8so:

thanks man, i plan on doing a t-line with 4 of them and see how it sounds. should be cool considering nobody would dream it would be 5'' subs making the bass in my truck. more of scratch your head factor lol. plus it keeps cost down for right now, seeing how money is tight

yep one of tang bands high ex subs. the quality in how they are made is great, well put together, has decent cooling feature for the sub, cone is nice, large voice coil, and only at $30 a sub, u cant go wrong with one for testing purposes
