  1. they have stuff in stock... i just ordered 4- 9Ks i love DD iv ran it pleanty of times back in the day (always the lower line stuff but still) i just dont like DD price tags or their customer support JMO though anyways i know it seems as if alot of people are running DC or selling DC (which im not lol) i just love my DC gear bc 1) its beast equipment:drink40: 2) i always get treated great no matter if im calling to place an order or just to BS 3) rusty anna and rob are all kick ass people 4) first impressions mean alot to a customer (especially one who's about to drop 10k+ in their gear) rusty had no idea if i was serious the first day i called them up and was talking to rusty about their new amp line and ordering 9 15" XLs lol in his head he was prob like damn kids wasting my time lol but he never rushed off the phone or anything he gave me tons of info that day and as a matter of fact we were on the phone for over 45min easy... i didnt even make a single purchase that day but less than 2 weeks later i ordered all 9 15" and 3 5Ks lol... i called pleanty of other companies that i wont name but they were prob equal in quality or wte you want to call it, but when i called they wer short with me, did not make conversation, rushed to get off the phone, and didnt seem to give 2 shits that i was being serious about running/ reppin a ton of their gear and giving them alot of my money... haha my monthly rant is out of my system!!! good luck with your build or rebuild man!!! DC FTMFW!!!

  5. My as millage is actually still about the same highway was like 17-18 on the way back from Ohio... And to think we only did half my batteries and half the amps lol!!! After we do the steel roof and add steel to the floor where it's flexing like crazy and add 200+ sqft of deadner to the doors roof an floor... Then we will be pretty heavy lol
  6. Damn had a few there that was pretty close guys 8,500lbs lol Good stuff huh? Lol Thanks guys
  7. I'm gna catch a few hours of sleep and see how many reply's we get Then I'll post what this beast weighs and remember we ended up doing 14 batteries instead of 22
  8. Well I worked off my first of 5 midnights and I was bored so we weighed my truck agn at the guard shack we did a before any system weigh a long time ago and after the final rebuild that's currently in the truck! Let's see who can guess the closest just for fun and if you win umm... I'll give you first dibs on lots of demo's at a show or whatever if your near by lol that's about all I can offer hahahaha anyways Before any system work - 5,200lbs And after the wall (current set up) - ??? Let's see who knows what all is in the truck and who can guess accurate weights?? I'll tell you this I was short on what I thought it was but not by much;)
  9. First time they seen power in the new set up... 1800 watts clamped (150 per sub) No loading wall yet And extremely low voltage....
  10. He's decided on (4) lvl6 18" in blow through (through the window) 4th order on (4) DC 9Ks and as stated above if he's not happy with that then we will be working on 6 or 8 lvl6 18"
  11. The 4th order is gna be like mine and hanks was it will be ported through the back window, keeping the back seats... Either he will or I'll post up pics of it
  12. Haha that's funny jay... He actually just textd me and said he wants to try #3 for a while and then if it's not loud enough wel rebuild with 6- 18" lvl6's but for now wer gna do 4- 18" lvl6's on 4- 9Ks in a good designed 4th order
  13. Nothing at all I was actually leaning toward that just my self... But he would like to be able to use his back seat
  14. Yes that's true dustin... So if I had to guess I'd say 6 lvl6's would be the best with out walling at the B pillar
  15. Wow lots of responses quick.... He does as I do lol he's a traveling welder/ union worker, and saves his money he's been working towards this build for a long time he did his highs a while ago, then bought my alts, and bought batteries and is now got a little of the money saved for subs and amps... I like the 6- lvl6's too
  16. My vote is for 8 18" XLs or any of the lvl6's lol
  17. Alright first off this isn't for me but it's a close friend of mine and he drives a 05' silverado crew cab on 24's Here's the thing we have been back and forth on different setups so I wana see what you guys think would be the most radical, crazy set up out of the ones shown.... He has bought my 3 mechman 300a alts on top of his 270a mechman so he will have a stout electrical system not to mention he ordered 10 d3400's and has 2 d3100's up front... All wired with 2/0 welding lead so that's out of the way lol... 1) 4- 18" DC lvl6's in a wall at the B pillar on 4- DC 9Ks 2) 6- 15" DC XL's in a wall at the B pillar on 2- DC 9Ks 3) 4- 18" DC lvl6's in a blow through the back window designed 4th order on 4- DC 9Ks keeping back seats... 4) 6- 18" DC lvl6's in a blow through the back window designed 4th order on 6- DC 7.5Ks keepin back seats.... 5) 8- 18" DC XLs in a blow through the back window designed 4th order on 2- DC 12Ks or 4- DC 7.5Ks?? Just a few ideas that he's said he liked... I think he really wants to try to keep his back seat but he's worried about how much it will take at the C pillar ti get as loud as 4- lvl6's on 35k at the B pillar will be... Anyways all he's waiting on is subs and amps but can't make up his mind so hopefully this will help!! Thanks guys Blake
  18. hell yea!!!! ordering some for sure!
  19. Don't have any pics but what I did was cut the 3/5" plexi to fit around the oval with a 1" lip all the way around I pre drilled the plexi and put a bead of silicone around the outer edge and let it set up to where it wasn't sticky anymore then applied the plexi and since the wood was 3/4 thick and the plexi was 3/4" thick I put 1.25" flat headed screws to get a good bite on the wood.... I have like 25 or so screws on the plexi, and like I said the plexi is just a tad larger than the opening so Its resting on the wood and the screws are applied from the rear inside the box Thanks man
  20. yup shes happy for now shes louder than most all the local guys around here.. with the exception of a few, but i love it most guys got 12's and 15's and she can blow em out
  21. not to bad like i said im gna do some deadner, and a few more batteries to help with the crazy voltage drop and then scope the amp, she should be prime then... id say if i tuned higher i couldv done better but i love the lows i still think i can reach 145 but well see :drinks: either way it turned out awesome and sounds great!!!
  22. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FY32WZ0Rc3k just a little flex
  23. http://youtu.be/UGD1ceFRLTQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGD1ceFRLTQ subs are still breaking in but not to bad for some 8" with horrible voltage drop and no sound deadner
  24. just lots of prep work man... prime, sand, prime, sand, body filler, sand, sand, sand... lol just lots of body filler wood puty and primer then blocked it at the end to try to get a uniform look and smoothness then shot it with rattle can (rustoleom) <spell? but i did a base black and then cleared it with rattle can and wet sanded lightly and buffed and hand polished the finish thanks man good luck
