    Sounds like the voice coil is bottoming out on the motor, and like james said no backpressure so i guess its kinda like that sub is freeairing, damage will occur

    theres actually 2 types of 360's, and one is more prone to the RROD than the other don't know why, but i had one when they first come out it was type "a" it got the rrod about a year later, then i went and bought the type "b" read all the serial numbers at gamestop till I found the type "b" system. Ive had this type "b" for 3 years and not one problem out of it.

    best way is to pull off the doorpanel and the vapor barrier sot hat you can get a good look inside the door and see exactly what is wrong, it could just be as simple as the window is off track
