  1. Aight... i apparently must be doing something wrong here... I have two 18" BTLs powered by a SAZ3500d. My BTLs coils are constantly getting warm. I've matched the gain to the H/U several times tried two different enclosures and adjusted and re adjusted my L/P and Subsonic filters. All this to make sure that i am not clipping. I tried backing off the gain and shit still gets warm. Maybe i am just a noob when it comes to knowledge of subwoofers. For piece of mind can some one give me some advice? Is it normal for them to get warm under normal unclipped power? Thanks.
  2. Looks like it slaps...Nice! What is the net vb of your enclosure?
  3. For the time being will it create any problems? I only drive the truck about 50-100 miles a week... Also will i have any clearance issues with my 22's?
  4. I've been looking around on line about lowering an AWD Envoy with this kit. Some guys are saying to get DJM upper control arms to take stess off the ball joints and to correct camber issues. But other people with the same kit are saying that they just used what came with the kit and had no probs. Any input on this?
  5. Just got off a 12 hour shift and decided to shoot a quick vid with my cell phone.
  6. Naw... I just ordered it yesterday from Stylin Trucks and it on order to ship mid month.
  7. I know some one who may want it... Send me a PM. shipping for 99504?

  9. I just bought a Belltech lowering kit for my '05 GMC Envoy. Just wanted to know if any one has installed a similar kit? If so I wanted to get some feedback on the install and ride quality. Tips, tricks, things to be aware of, etc... Thanks
  10. Well i pretty much got things adjusted so that my subs dont heat up to the point that i can smell them, But now one of them seems to always get warm and the other does not. Does anyone know why this could be happening? This ish is starting to get frustrating!
  11. I was exaggerating a little. Im talkin like 2 and a half min of straight slammin... Any how i re matched my gain and tried some different adjustments and it seems to be better. They still get warm after awhile of beating on them but i dont smell nothing
  12. don't have one and don't have $ 4 one.
  13. yeah that cold be it...It is tuned to about 36htz.
  14. I figured that, but how long is too long? 10-30 sec on music? When I bang normal music it is fine all day long, but when i play C&S or something like Dj Billy E they get warm and smell a little at the port if i am not carfull w/ the vol.
  15. Does much damage occur if i get my subs stinkin' while i give demos and for comps as long as the voltage is above 12 and i don't beat em like that every single day?
  16. Here is a pic of the box design if it helps any.......
  17. did you resolve the problem with your set up?
  18. will it damage anything in the mean time while i trouble shoot the problem? It only does it when it hits real real lows on music, but i can play a 20htz tone and the excursion of both subs are the same.
  19. will it help by adjusting the phase control on the amp... or is it a design flaw with the enclosure?
  20. Sorry I just get impatient... Stuff like this bugs the crap outta me!
