So here in wonderful old Springfield, IL. they are trying to change the noise ordinance law. 1st strike, you get impounded. lol wow isnt life fun. But it’s a bigger problem when the bass thumping from vehicles idling 150 feet away causes his home’s windows to rattle in the middle of the night. “It’s not just an inconvenience,” he said. “It’s actually affecting my quality of life.” * First violation — towed with a $25 administration fee. * Second violation — towed and a $250 penalty and $25 administration fee. * Third violation — $500 penalty and a $25 administration fee.

i pulled it out pretty far and it looks perfectly fine. idk bout the inside tho. big problem is tho idk what exact coil config they are i kno ther dual2 but copper or waht

alrite so i bought these woofers from Brian Owens on CA awhile back and put them in my wall. They are 15" Fi BTL softparts with different motors. im not sure of what motors they are but they arent fi production. anyway i finally got everything hooked up on the Z2LV friday and then today i was driving at liek 1/4 volume and it made a horrible noise so i stopped and messed with it and noticed it was stiff. so i pulled it out and found that the bolts going into the motor have stripped out.. WTf do i do? i guess i can call Fi tomarrow but if i gotta get a new motor and a new recone and waht not on top of that thats gonna suck. it jsut really upset me ive been waitng all this time to get it hooked up and 2 days later... salt. hope it gets fixed before the 30th......any suggestions? lol WEDLING>haha as long as it holds/ works.

Im looking for 2 15"s that are around 800-1200 watts rms each. im lookin to spend around $300-400 on them and ofcourse fairly new. LMK

Alrite so this is the first of the shag builds. if you saw the RED SHAG Build you kniow what im talking about lol. these kids are a little off the wall and want to goofy stuf haha. the bottom was finished off with Blue formica. White formica on the sides. this is the front. the holes are for 3" aero's and the square is for a plexi window. i also chafered all of the edges so it will look sick with the vinyl. ok this memphis logo took me Awhile and im really proud of being able to re create it using only a ruler and a compass haha. on to the 1/8 closed cell. cut out lol i attached the xacto to the compass it made it a little easier. my friends are a big help haha it turned out really nice with all of the lights. i ended up making side walls for the trunk and its now ALL shag haha. it looks alot better with no ugle grey trunk.

lol yeah i did the whole build ina day. i think he ended up poppin a woofer though :/ they arent thesmartest bunch on the planet haha

good, down firing increases LF, extension, eliminates cone distortion, and increases overall output. we do ALOT of them at the shopwith low power woofers. but ther really wasnt much of an option with his truck anyway, especially with the entry level woofers

lol i did 2 builds right in a row with the same style of shag thats on my headliner. i met some interesting kids and they all wanted it haha. This was build 2 with 2 of my old kicker comps. i used a Quantum QSA2150(my fav.) amp which pushed them fine. i had a bunch of finished pics but accidently deleted them haha. i had to put the port in the middle and do some angleing to get it right. it was teh only option but ended working really well and had a very nice freq. response. i didnt want to just cover it all in shag i had to switch it up. i used some 1/8" closed cell we use for logos n what not to rais up a center section that i will cover in vinyl. i rolled the edges of the shag so that it would be nice and clean. then i made a plate for teh recessed area out of 1/8" abs/stainless substrate and put my decal on it lol i wish i had some mroe pics. i made a console/amprack for the 2150 than fit beween the seats that really finished it off.

alrite so im finally uploading hundreds of pics from my last few builds (including the truck) and from this show... so here they are! these are mostly the night ones in the first post. lol rob's long awaited port score. my buddy ryan....his build was on here with 4 e8's ina dodge and would have got 2nd in the neon glow off if i wouldnt have bought the cheap leds that go out after a month haha

is there any real mechnical difference between the 7kd and 7k2d??

im pretty bored here at work and was thiking. what is the thickest mdf they make? ive heard of like 1 1/2" n stuff. where can i get stuff like that or do they make thicker?
