megaboom

I have a 60" sharp wall mounted in my living room and am looking for a soundbar/sub combo or a 2.1 system can anyone offer some suggestions? I was looking at the Bose CineMate Series II Digital Home Theater Speaker System or the Polk surround bar 6000 anybody have any ecpirience with these? I have an open floor plan so there is no wall opposite of the tv for the sound to reflect off of are there any other products I should look at? I have no experience what so ever with home theatre

Any other suggestions????

I'm going to start my build on my 02 dodge ext cab (quad cab) but I'm unsure of what size subs to get......I really listen to all kinds of music from country to dubstep to metal to rap I like the kick of a sealed enclosure but I'm in love with the lows of a ported one. So my question is I'm thinking of installing 8 10's , 4 12's, or 2 18's musically which would be better? If I go with more than two subs I'll probably spend less money per sub tgan if I were to go with just a pair of really good subs.....so any info or advice will help thanks

They don't fold up to weird actually to me it's enough for a good size box if I get a chance I'll post some pics I have everything in the truck just haven't connected anything cause I need to get a radio

No the seat folds up so I got plenty of room for a bigger box I have it in an old box I made a few years ago but it's been so long since I've messed with a system I cant remember shit

I have an old fi bl 12 laying and would like to install it, I've been out of the game for years so I could use some help on the box. It's going in a 2002 dodge ext cab(quad cab) and I'll be running it off of an old re12.1 and I would like it tuned to 30-33 Hz......thank in advance

I have an fi bl 12, it's the very first series of bl made and I want to make a box for it but do t have specs.....could y'all help me out? It's a dual 2ohm with all the extras that we're available at the time and I'll be running it off an old re12.1 that I got laying around and it's going in a dodge ram quad cab(ext cab)

so i did some measuring today and i figure i have a little over 7ft3 gross behind the back seat not really sure what im gonna stick back there i was thinkin about 4 12's sealed or 2 ported or 8 tens sealed idk we will see im willing to take suggestions i was thinking of trying out some AA's or DD's or AQ's not sure yet

thats cool i took out my storage box already and and i dont have a power rear sliding window so if theres something there ill take it out and i could mount my amps under the seat so i should have plenty of room thanks for the pics and info

thanks for the reply i have done a couple of installs of my own i was just wondering if anyone out there had done something different or had some other ideas....ive posted a pic of the current install i have and i have pics of some of the installs ive done when i had my scion....just looking for ideas not sure what i want to stick in there...i was thinking of running either 4 tens or a pair of good 12's ported from some rough calculations i shoul have about 6-7 ft3 not including whatever subs i use an ports an such.....i could possibly have more room ust need to get my exact measurements....thanks for any input

thanks for the compliments it sounds ok, i never had an alipine hu so i am still getting used to the settings.....i was used to having big ported boxes in my previous vehicles and this small ported one doesnt do justice to this sub.....im thinking of changing it up but im not sure how or what i want to use

here are a few pics of my current ride and setup.....i have a 2006 dodge ram cummins diesel 4x4 i have a few performance upgrades - intake, exhaust,chip,fuel upgrades,etc.etc.etc. the system consists 1 fi bl 12" sub and an re 12.1 and an alpine hu its ok im not real happy with it and am thining of completely redoing everything i have the the sub in a 2-2.5 cu ft box tuned to 33ish hz
