There's a pic of the doors ass u can see only 3 6.5 holes
-
No they were not bridged they There was 3 6.5s on each channel in a parallel so that's 1.33 ohms on the two channels. And for the guy complaining y I was messing with my door panels it's because I just made them from fiberglass and for the smart guy with the comment about why I didn't get another set of components it's because maybe it costs money to get another set or maybe the fact that I couldn't fit 4 sets in the doors
-
I doubt it. Fuses take a moment to blow, it doesn't take long to damage an amp.
I would bet a fiver that one or both of the speaker terminals or wires touched the door metal.
At the same time with that many drivers I would love to know how you've wired them up, and what ohm load they're supposed to be.
i have sent them off to repair at db-r so thats that but i had three sets of rf 1652-s and two rf 8" p2's. i had two sundown 100.4's so thats eight channels of processing power. i 4 of those chanels or one amp to just the 8" p2's wired to 2ohm bridged. on the other amp i went ahead and placed 3 tweeters on 2 of the remaining channels and 3 6.5's on the last two channels. i know that this bumps my ohms down to 1.333ohms and the amp recommends only going down to 2 ohms but i talked to jacob from sundown and he said it should be fine its been done before.

Do u think there is anyway that the amps fuses could have stopped the damage if they did ground out
-
ok so i just got done wiring my components which consist of 6 rf 6.5 6 rf t1 tweeters and 2 rf 8's. i got it done last night and it played for about 1 hour and then i went to move my door panel without taking my speakers out and all of a sudden i here a loud pop. and to my sheer disappointment both my 100.4's blew there fuses. i also saw a little bit of white smoke not alot just a slight amount come out of the amp's. i tried putting new fuses in but it starts sparking when i try to stick in the fuse. i called dbr i got them from him about 2 weeks ago and he says its prob the power supply. what i was wondering is what could have possibly caused this. the power ground and remote had no chance of touching. the only wires that could have shorted were the rca's or speaker wire. is there even a way for the speaker wire to cause so much damage. or what could have happend. do you guys think it will still be under warranty.
edit when the popping noise sounded i had it a very low volume

Alright so i have here a used eclipse cd 7000 and the ipc-106 ipod adapter allowing the head unit to connect with an ipod and play music through it. it served good and well for about a year and the only reason im gettng away with it is because i just currently bought a new touch screen. the headunit will come with case, remote and harness the only thing that i do not have is the trim piece but those are easily obtainable Im am asking 250 shipped for both the headunit and adapter (alone is $40)

Hey dude the only thing you can really do at this point to get louder is either chop the dumbs off at the flomaster as wide of an opening as possible this will give you a decent amount of sound. the 44 series is a no go its quiter than just a 40 series. and if thats not enough there is always going with one chamber flowmasters now they get loud.

I got you man.
Alright after a whole lot of help from Gibbs (MAJOR PROBS) and a little editing to the thread finally got the videos embedded .

just put another video up in the second post
-
the video quality is decent after uploading it from youtube but due to compression that you tube has it makes it look like crap compared to it coming directly from the phone. When its still on the phone quality is top notch

I have never seen a code that turns the engine light on due to a leak in gas. There are evap codes (as stated above by someone). if it is an evap code it wont be that much money, at our shop we charge 40 dollars to put our tester on which will tell us where its leaking. then after that depending on whats leaking( could be hose, gas cap ....) you just replace whatever is leaking and your good to go

the gernorus thing to do is ask nicely if they could do it for you then maybe offer them some green to make it worth there while
