  1. well the turd it at it again...

the manual gear box (steering gear) has gone out on my van yet again...

i bought a new box in 06 while in atl. for nopi and it just went out again to where i can not turn right lol... my part has a lifttime warr. on it but advance nor anyone else within 50 miles (or anywhere) has my part neither do the junk yards aroung here...

so im basicly fucked for the moment.

and figured what the hell maybe we have some junkyard fellas here who might be able to check different locations to see if there is one somewhere.

so if you visit junk yards or know someone that deals with them could you call/visit and see if they happen to have a Manual steering gear box for a 1980 ford ecnoline e100 van..

if so i need it very bad and will pay for time/part and shipping of part :vava:

  2. well ill stick with what i have then for now, and just take is slow and learn how to do things one thing at a time...

im tryn to figure out how to put in the upgrades to the forum and think i might have figured it out,.... correct me if im on the wrong path lol... (i havent done anything yet)

i go to my hosting site, and open my control panel, where im looking at my html directory.

then i find the proper spot (that the smf manual install tells) then download it from the panel, open it with a xtml editor and add in the sections that need to go and then when i have add'd the part upload to the server via the control panel then move on to the next part untill i have all sections placed in its correct location and reuploaded to the server?.....

or do i have to delete the old part before i upload the new edited part?

and what program do i need to properly work with adding the codes in with?

  3. dam this stuff was alot more than i thought it would be lol... i cant figure out where to start...

i use to run a program called palace a few years back that was hosted and i would edit scripts ect, and it was easy for me to work with but its just a simple program with tons of hacks and crap to do..

i cant even figure out how to download onto my pc the scrips that my site is useing or open the shit up lol....

is there a place i can go to to get a forum/web building for retards lol...

  4. well ive member to a few sites for guns and its a pain going to them because everone is talking about the pres. elections ect. so i decided to make my own site but make it mainly for info on laws and related info, and for the selling part of guns ect make it so each state has its own section so youre not wasteing time talking to someone in a state that requires you to have a ffl do the sale and cost you more....

there is noone on the site rite now as i just opend it and im in the process of figureing it out lol its my first site... but if you want to check it out and tell me what i can do to make it better or eaiser to navagte i can use the negative feed back to make it a decent place to buy/sell/trade and obtain useful info on guns and our rights to own them...

    the site is

    http://www.southernguntrader.com

  5. well ive meet someone who has their own cnc machine with plasma cuter and can do up to 1/2 steel but does most of his work with 16ga steel , he dont plate or anything just cut but im searching for a source to plate and coat the metals at a decent cost.

im haveing him make me a smith and wesson logo thats wall mountable but not a flush mount so i can load it with lights and make it glow in my gun room, and hes makeing me a "Memphis Monster" logo with metal spikes so i can push the spikes thru the top of my wall where its foam and bend the barbs to mount the logo....

anyone else interrsted in something like this to show off their audio passion? if so shoot me a pm with your idea and picture if possible and state size so i can take the pics to him with the info and see what i cant get done for ya....

  6. lol yea, inm tryn to get my hands on a chain saw so i can go around the yard and cut all the dead/weak limbs off ... only thing that realy sucks about it, the log that fell from the tree was home to a few of them red headed wood peckers... pretty birds and i enjoyed seeing them even tho the were weaking the dead part of the tree lol....

and as far as a truck goes i cant i have to work out of what ever i buy and with needing to carry 3 kids a truck is like tits on a bull to me.....

  7. lmfao all i can say about the van is, im glad that i dont live in a state with inspections.....

but here are some daytime pics of the damage... noticed there is a half inch gap under the bottom of the windshiled where the log that fell didnt just damage the cover for the wipers it actually bent the top of the engine compartment ....which is part of the frame and fire wall i do belive
