  1. Is there any dust clogging up your cpu heatsink at all?

    Dust is a major enemy.

But if you tried all else and its still giving you a problem start with drivers..

Get the most up to date motherboard drivers, processor driver, video driver, sound driver, direct x.

    It may make a difference.

Oh and are you running your card with vertical sync on or off? If its on turn it off!!!!!!

And depending on where you live check out my CSs server :) trying to get it popular!

    205.234.203.15:27015

Its a velocity server located in Chicago, IL

    100 tickrate

    550 serverside fps

    cpu priority

    and no lag :)

I sure as hell will check out ur server.

  2. I bought http://www.compusa.com/products/product_in...uct_code=339563 and http://www.compusa.com/products/product_in...uct_code=332236 today and installed em....it ran longer than it did but it still shut off on me when playing CSS. The only other thing I can think of is the processor cuz the heatsinks are a little warm after it shuts off. I got a fan on the processor so I dont know what else to do.

  3. I blew out all the dust in my case and I added a fan on my hard drive cuz it got really hot and I thought thats why my comp shut off. but after a few mins of CSS my video card gets kinda hot (its got a fan on it but it barely moves any air). I was thinkin of gettin a new video card but I dont wanna go spend the money and it not fix my problem cuz I just spent $100 on a PSU and it did nothing.

I was thinkin bout gettin this card if I have to...http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?pfp=BROWSE&N=200105&product_code=346612

you guys think it'll work? The card I got now is only 256MB

  4. Or if u want something that slams really hard...I have a 10" Kicker CVX and a 600 watt Sony amp that will rms it perfectly.

Both sub and amp are in great condition and in original boxes. I can sell the sub for $120 and the amp for $140.....so it'll be $260 plus shipping

Or for $240 I can give you the CVX and my 500 watt Sony amp......$120 for the sub and $120 for the amp, but my 500 watt amp doesnt have the original box (but I can find a box to ship it in.)

Just to let you know...I had the CVX in a 1.75 cu. ft. box with a 2.5"x10.5" port thats 20" long, and this thing was about the same or if not louder than 2 12" kicker comps that I had.

  5. I have a Sony amp, its only 250 rms at 4 ohms but I have a 12" kick comp I can sell you and if you hook both of them to the amp the amp puts out 500 rms at 2 ohms...I used to have 2 comp hooked up to this amp and they sounded amazing. If u want the comp I can sell it to you for $30 plus shipping and the amp for $120 plus shipping.

  6. Ya I noticed that 2 BXI1606D's would cost me about $200 less than the XXV. So I dunno, it depends on how much I wanna spend when the time comes. So if I do get 2 1606D's, thanks for the tip on the Max-Link, I just might have to look into gettin it

  7. wow that is a nice amp....I might change my mind about the bxi1606d and go for the xxv, but if I did get it, I would be a little confused on wiring the subs to it. Should I wire 2 subs together and wire it to the 1st channel and wire the other 2 subs to the 2nd channel? If someone could tell me or if you have a wiring diagram that would be very helpful

  8. Alright, looks like im goin for the 1606D Thx guys and coolwazabi: I dont wanna go with sumthing else because HF has pretty cheap amps and my friend had an SPL amp and it sounded nice but then he got a HF and it sounded so much cleaner, but thx anyways
