for about a week or so my friend let me borrow his term lab. i want to build a box for comps. besides finding the peak frequency in my car what else should i do while i have the term lab to help me build the best box possible.

i have no idea. even though i have been on this site for over a year im still a noob when it comes to this.

i think the OP is asking if it will be possible to do a hairtrick with those subs and amp. and what he needs as far as electrical goes. your def going to need a better electrical than just a few caps. you should get some good batteries and maybe even a HO altenator. but im not really sure what you need. letrs see what other people on this forum say you need as far as electrical goes because im kind of still a noob

could u give me a link too a good but not expensive lowering springs. i want to be low but not too low so my tires will rub and i will have to cut away at the body

my friend wants a low budget system. not because he doesnt have the money he just doesnt like alot of bass. hes heard my system which is 2000 watts and says its way too much. hes even heard 2 alpine type s and said it was too much. he wants something in the 300 watt range and he needs everything. box, amp, wiring, subs. he said he doesnt want a head unit. he likes his stock one. its al going in a 04 accord. ive been looking on dealercostcaraudio.com and our for sale section but i want to see what you guys come up with. i would build a box for him but i dont want my first box to be for a friend because i dont want to screw up

how? where do i buy the kit? hwo much does it cost? bagging costs too much doesnt it?

i ahve a 1998 buick lesabre. do you think it woulld look good lowered? how low should i go? how much does it cost to lower a car? i dont wann aput too much $ into this thing especially when im saving for my next car( but dw im not getting that for over a year)

u think a 148 is possible out of z15s with a new box strictly for comps?

i didnt place at all. the top 3 guys were all in between 147-148. its a 1998 buick lesabre. box i used was my daily box that is tuned to 38 hz with 75^2 inches of port. its 6^3 feet.

i went to my first comp i have 2 z15s and a saz-2000d and i hit a 144.0 legal even though i removed the back seat. the guy who came in first hit a 148.0. i was in the street c class and it was equivalent to db drag street c im going to try and build a box strictly for comps and c if i can hit a 148 and im going to sound deaden a lil bit of my vehicle. you think its possible?

at the show i hit a 143.8 with the seat out. i only got like 3 tenths of a db at most gain by taking the seats out
