I am with James on this one. I have a 12" level 3 and I am super happy with the sound of this product. I would not be afraid of using any line of DC for daily driving. I like the sound of mine better than the other subs I have owned. Is it the best sounding sub out there? I have no idea. Can you make it sound really nice? yes definitely. I say buy it. Have a great day. D

I guess I am interested but price would be a factor.

southwest corner by Indianhead Golf Course, i work at The UPS Store right now. u live near?
Bills
Not anymore. I moved 4 yrs ago out of state. I come back a few times a year for holidays and family time though. I lived there for 32 years. That is a nice area you live in. I am glad to see someone there trying new equipment instead of the same old VK and Edwards crap. D

When I ordered mine I talked to Rusty about them and for a nominal fee he built me some with 2 ohm coils. I am sure there is info on archived pages in the DC audio area. I also hate to send you there but *** website has a few about DC as well. But I would only use that as a last resort. D

Awesome bikes. I really miss riding. :-(

I am with everyone else here that sucks. Hopefully you can catch them in it and politely ask for it back. My sarcasm hand is raised for my last comment. D

The higher the risk the higher the reward potential. Stocks are not really a place to make money in a short time period. I know it is possible but it is also possible to loose everything. Tech stocks small companies are usually the highest risk and Tbills and Gov. bonds are low risk. Talk to someone who is paid to tell you where to put your money. Just my 2 cents. Have an awesome day. D

hmm maybe he puts lvl 4 coils in them like he puts lvl 5 coils in the lvl 4s. either way sounds like you have a nice little build there
Thank you very much.
I know it works perfectly for me.
I just need to buy 2 more Miniliths and get the other sub back in.

and dont be bashful i only bash people who have no business touching audio
I am an old school audio addict. :-) I was into competing heavily in the 90's. I have almost always done my own stuff because I am too tight to pay someone and besides that they dont do it specifically my way. you know.....perfect. D

I don't know that is what rusty called them when I ordered them. I think they are 2 ohm and handle 1000 watts.
-
lots of watts going to that 600rms sub...any details on your install?
would love to see pics if you got them.
I have the "spl coils" aka the 2 ohm coils and I do not have pics yet. I am running it sealed in a 1.12 cubic foot box and it is being ran by 2 Zed Audio Minliths. I have orion old school hcca components in front and back which are 2 ohms as well. For those I am running Zed Audio Gladius' with the BB upgrade. and I have an Alpine 9885 HU with an ipod for storage. I have buttloads of Second skin damplifier and overkill and a second battery in back too. That is about it. I do not usually like to show pictures due to the way people on other forums have tended to comment. The same people that have no install skill or systems themselves. I do not necessarily want pics of my stuff on the Internet. maybe some time I will take pics and put them up every now and then. D

I use a DC audio lvl 3 12" sub in my current install with 1300 watts going to it. I love the low end of it. It really is a musical sub.
