  1. Well I will start first with I work at a local shop in Flint, Michigan. I talked the managers and boss into letting me start a Facebook page if I update it and do how-to videos to get us out and known a little better, plus I enjoy car electronics.

Here is our Facebook page like it up to get updates posted straight to your feed. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dukes-Car-Stereo/150004545107229

But now to the video. Now tell me what I need to do to better these videos, 9 times out of 10 I'm going to be all on my own with holding the camera and doing the install. Also I only feel comfortable doing them on saturdays because everyone else at my work thinks its just the stupidest thing I could do and miss with the videos by screaming stuff while I am recording. But all comments are wanted and welcome!

  2. that is expensive but that for a shop to do it and carpet and all the materials then the labor also.

I worked in a shop, 8 years until two months ago. So I was speaking from a shop point of view

and where talking about flint where the last time my shop built a box was like 10 years ago... no one has money to do it and we charge that much for all materials from wood to glue screws carpet terminal cups and we get payed based off labor not hourly so i dont make one dime if we didnt charge enough

  3. i liked...im going to be working at HERTZ rental cars, and ill be working with new cars everyday, itd be nice to be ahead of my game taking stuff out and putting stuff in, looking foward to it

one good thing with working on new cars is that you know that its new so no one has been in there braking panels or missing with wires. and the chances of the car being trashed by the costumer is less too.

  4. So I'm one of those installers that actually enjoys my job. I had seen that we have a Facebook and no one every updates it. So after some talking and pulling strings they let me start one for out location.

Some of the things that I plan on doing with this is doing some kind of monthly or maybe weekly update pics and videos on how to's for remote starts on cars. To how we install different radios and systems in cars. Manly right now it is going to be remote starts in cars seeing this is out busy season with tons of remote starts to be installed.

The videos are going to be a range from the common Chevy truck to new 2011 to 2012 cars.

Now for the pleading and begging of you to like the page and share it with your friends to see if i can get some followers.
