Unless he changed it, it's just a standard ported box that models and acts like a 6th order. The front where it enters the cab acts as a 2nd port, making it act as a series tuned 6th order exactly why i just said a series lol
-
I was thinking something along the ling of that for the 4th but I wanted port in the center for even pressure in the cabin. Plus i'd still have to angle the sub walls im not going deeper then 48" and a 2.5:1 huh? hmmm ok now you got me thinking some more.

ha if i could fit a T-line for 4 12's thats be sick but HUGE lol and yes its a 6th order series i just typed series for short What kind of truck you got? What are the max dimensions? Now I've got myself curious if I could even make a T-line for 4 12s fit for a blowthrough... hahah a Chevy S10 39.5"W 14.5"H and i think somewhere around 60"D If i was going to use my whole bed it'd be with 15's in an interesting design. Not going to put that much work into it yet since its my daily but if it wasn't

I cant get my T/s specs into the program. plus thats not in a vehicle enviroment which changes things it estimates the box gain in the frequency spectrum. Oh, Ive never used that program...so I didnt know lol Thats why I use the word "guesstimate" Okay, Thanks for the clarification O any time young gun

there is no way to tell what your rise will be its very tricky. no way to guess what it will be.

of course ill be competing and well my series is similar to sanitariums and i haven't done a 4th order yet i was thinking of designing one for only 2 subs first then double it. but whats wrong with my designs lol i did a 146.1 on 546.7 watts lol rise just killed me.

Alright everyone just wanna say good to be back and ill be back for good because of some stupid bs... anyways The blowthru is getting rebuilt. Ordering the recones for the 4 12" Fi Q's today. I need to make up my mind on my box design so i can hopefully start building this week and im stuck between 2 designs. ones a 4th order and one is like sanitariums blowthru. My original design: this is what happened to it since i decided not to use it again considering the box rise(started at .7ohms rose to 9ohms ) First design: Its a rough drawing but each sub face is 13.5" long and then an port length of 10.5" its about 8.6-9ish cubes with about 146.25" of port. The box is 39.5"Wx14.5"Hx49.5"L 4th order: This is just the rear chamber it'll turn out to about 3.3-3.8ish cubes depending on the bracing I do. the first 2 subs will be inverted. The front chamber would be about anywhere I wanna make it but im thinking a good 4.5-5.5ish cubes tuned to 39hz with around 78-91sq in of port area. Im just torn between the two. I know 4th orders are picky and take time to dial in just right, I would love to build it but I dont have the time, space, money, or tools to keep pulling it out and working on it and putting it back in. Whats everyones thought?

im wondering if its almost to big.. But it should bring the lows out nicely.. and possibly 6-7 cubes ported since they're 12's with low motor force I also think im going with a 37-39hz tunning -
Hey guys im looking for ppl experienced with 4th orders. The enclosure size is throwing my I know its alot of trial and error but im trying to save time by not having to do that as much. I have 4 Fi Q(old stlye) 12's on an AQ 3500.1 in my S10. max box height is 14.5 and max width is 39.5, depth im looking to be around 48-49. the space for the sealed side is throwing me off. i was thinking 4 cubes for the sealed side but im not sure if thats to much. what do you all think. and i thinking a 2:1 or a 1.5:1 ratio.
