yep its going in the lumina... ive got 2 vids on my photobucket if you havent seen them yet... its been raining alot here so i havent been able to get out and do alot but ill post a linky! these were from my initial test.... i ran it for about 10 minutes.... and then my rearview mirror fell off my windshield..... id say its hiting lower 140's... but its still just not enough for me.... my girl says its insane but i know i can do better than that! oh btw this is my new box i built... not bad for my first time carpeting.... time to click on them now....

ok well ive decided that i want to upgrade my 4 10" Alpine type s's to the 10" type r's.... and im going to need to double my power... i have a few options in my mind.... the first one would be to just get another mrp-m1000=$320ish or i could sell it and choose from a couple other amps...... i will order my subs at the same time so i will be able to choose between the d2 and d4 models.... im wanting to have 2000wrms on hand and i want to stay at or around(preferably under) the $320 mark... so here is what im trying to decide between Hifonics bxi2010 2000rms@1ohm=$300 power acoustik A3000bd 2300rms@1ohm=$290 ive dealt with the brutus series amps before and they seem to be fine.... but ive never dealt with the power acoustik.... let me know what you think?

yeah id take the line driver out and try it... or it might be a defective rca cable...

diamond audio D3 400rms=100bucks or diamond audio d6 600rms= 150-200bucks.... i recommend either of these... alpine type r's dc lvl 2 or 3 dont get the cvr's or l7's.... kicker sux balls! hahaha seriously they sound like poo!

well it would be fine if you were running different amps... but no you cant mix em... current will always take the path of the least resistance!

i would recommend diamond audio d3's over alpine type r's anyday... proble a bit cheaper and a more solid bang for the buck... and if you are going to go with alpine subs.. why not keep it with an alpine amp... say.. mrp-m1000 you will need the dual 2 ohm subs for this amp...

well this question is kinda hard to answer... chances are that if you have 4-6 15's its going to be loud no mater what... unless your box sux... i wouldnt be worying about which brand... id be worying if your electrical system can provide enough power for that long of a period of time...

which ac meter is that? our local shop uses the spl190 and the mic looks totaly different than that...

if your just going to go sealed i would just get the prefab that is made for the car.... i had a buddy that had a 90's camaro with the prefab and 2 12" diamond audio cm3's and that thing slammed hard!.... but if your going to mix it up and go with a vented design id say build it yourslef....
