  1. i would go with a slightly larger battery in the back..JUST to be safe..can never have too much battery supply.. ring terminals..zip ties..

u should be set to go

also what mids n highs r u going to use??

I was thinking maybe the kinetik 1400 in the rear, but we will see money wise. I can always upgrade. I dont know yet for mids and highs. The car came with some nice infinitys and with the deck I have they sound nice and crisp. I was thinking in the future maybe some rockford fosgate component set. Not too worried about it though. I also watched one of EXOs videos yesterday and saw this. Should I get it? Will it really be that big of a difference. Also I changed up what amp I want. I talked to CJ18 and he got me hooked on the DC 2.0k

  2. You might upgrade your stock battery too... Shouldnt be needed since you're getting an alt and an extra D925. Just something to think about.

I agree on this too. When I had my jeep and my 15 inch l7 I had a cheap fleet farm battery. It would dim the headlights, deck, gauges etc. I threw in a optima yellow top after and it made the difference. Gonna see how it does without and if it struggles I will be going to buy a new battery. Maybe optima but I wanna do xs or kinetik

  3. So I had to sell my truck and I picked up a 1995 ford mustang 3.8l v6 5speed. Since its a v6 and I dont feel like swapping I figured to dumping my money into another system. I want some bang for my buck and I think this might be the best option for the space I have and money. The day I bought it I threw in a pioneer DEH-6300UB. I have made a list of what I think should cover it. Tell me if I am missing anything.

    • 2 12 inch dc Level 4s
    • AQ2200D Amplifier
    • KCA 1/0 Power Amplifier Installation Kit
    • 220 Amp Alt
    • XS Power 12V D925 AGM Battery
    • Stinger Volt Gauge
    • Rockford Fosgate RCAs
    • Box built from birch. Probably tuned to 32 Hz
    • 0 gauge wiring for extra battery
    • Dynamat

  4. Blowthrough or gogo 2 seater. Once you have the crewcab rear seat though, you never want to give it up. Picking up wither a cummings or 7.3 pstroke in about 6 months, cant wait. 12" of lift looks delicious on that truck, but 8" is normally enough imo. That a 4 or 5" tip? Any thoughts on dual exhaust? Dual 45s are sexy as fawk.

Anything other than chip? New turbo? Injectors? Fuel pump? OM NOM NOM.

Ill get him an account on here so he can start answering your questions. And I always loved crew cabs. I think people are kinda stupid for getting an 08 extended cab... its like fork a bit more money over.

  5. That is a sweet ass truck! Personally, I woulda went w/ a straight axle swap. But I'm sure this setup rides a whole lot smoother! Just not quite as durable.

But still a sic ass truck no matter what!

Oh and good luck fitting those subs under the seat! I smell a blow-thru!

He was saying something about possibly going to a straight axle setup instead of ifs. He wants to be able to drag it now. He has the money flow coming in so I am all for it. It has the potential to be a good diesel drag/daily driver.

Here is a vid with 33s on it doing a launch.

  6. Blow through. But, money needs to be spent somewhere else first, unless he loves exploding CV shafts at the sight of a mudhole. Impressive truck none the less.

This is his daily driver. He has a k5 blazer with 40s as his mudder. I told him hes gonna need to do a blowthrough so he will see what I am talking about when the subs come. Trust me this truck halls ass. He is actually dropping it a bit and putting 36s on it. Also is building a twin turbo 6.6 lly lbz engine he got out of a wrecked one. Should be somewhere around 1000HP. And he said something about this new liftkit having an option of dropping 2 inches and making all the drivelines and suspension straight so its less pressure when he nails it.

  7. Hey guys,

I got a buddy who has a nice ass 2007 duramax. Has 12 inches of lift, 41s, ATS DIESEL chip, and a bunch of other crap. Thought you'd wanna see it. He also plans on putting two 18" btls in there under the rear seat(i dont see it working) but hopefully should have some beat in it soon. Enjoy
