Don't take your sub back read this http://www.bcae1.com/resvsimp.htm it's pretty much what stated in the post above yours with an explanation.

What happens when you turn the key? Nothing or does it crank but not start? I've been having problems with my 02 the theft light randomly comes on and blinks when I try to start it, it'll crank but won't start. The only way I can start it when that happens is to use my remote start which is kind of embarrassing in a busy parching lot or gas station.

I could probably trade it at buffalo gun center for something more suited for my needs and a little cash too.

Thanks Nate I appreciate your opinion and I figured it wasn't for somebody that just wants to go plinking on the weekend but it doesn't seem like my amp is going to sell any time soon and I was thinking I much rather have a rifle I don't need than an amp I don't need I was also thinking that if I was ever hurting for cash it'd be easier to sell the rifle than the amp. So do you think it's worth what he's saying? I have a couple more pics I'll upload.

I just want sometimg I can take to a range and shoot all day and not spend a small fortune on ammo.
Edit. I'm really consider this because it will finally get me off my ass and to a range. I love shooting but for me it's audio<other interests I've been thinking about getting a .22 but then I always think well I could spend that money on a an amp/subs/building supplies. He also has an ar15 in .22 but NY has "assault weapon" laws so I don't know if it'd be legal to own.

I have someone interested in trading a ruger 10/22 for my stetsom 6k2d. It has a bull barrel, laminate stock, scope, titanium firing pin extract, and a trigger job done by a local shop.
Here's a pic he sent me
He said it's worth about $700 which is about what I want to get out of the amp. So is it a fair trade?

I'm in the same boat your in but I think I going to have mine wrapped professionally (depending on cost). I did a little research and a 4 way stretch vinyl like this http://www.yourautotrim.com/al4stvi.html is supposed to make the job a lot easier.

Your going to want to get the largest you can fit in the stock location and the largest you can afford to go in the trunk.

I tried to get you some more links but I'm at work and it just got busy

People do use them. Usually when they have a hook up and can get them cheap as hell. There good batteries, I used one before for my first couple systems and there great BUT there are better batteries out there that are more suited to our car audio needs.
Edit for grammar

Those special yellow tops that say "XS Power" on the side.
This. XS Power is the best! Kinetik is decent too and a little more affordable. You could also check out the Deka intimidator series. I'll get you some links
There are also several name brands you may be surprised to find out are actually Deka Intimidators, just rebranded.
Actually I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if someone told me kinetik, stinger, juice box, shruriken, ect were rebranded intimidators
Op I'm working on those links if you want them

Any specific reason you want to run yellow tops?

so would the MB Quart 1500 amp be the best for the 4ohm type r? or the hifonics?
MB Quart and Hifoincs are both made by MAXXSONICS so flip a coin or pick the one you think is prettier.

In good condition those motors gotta be worth $300 a piece and even if the amps are blown there still probably worth $150 for the pair. But usually if something seems to good to be true it is.

yourautotrim.com has faux suede and vinyl
This is where I buy my upholstery supplies. I would recommend them

If your looking for a plunge router I picked up one of these a couple weeks ago http://www.harborfreight.com/power-tools/routers/1-1-2-half-hp-variable-speed-plunge-router-67119.html and I LOVE it so far. It looks to be of equal or better quality than the Ryobi I was looking at in home depot and I got it on sale for $69.99 so it was about $50 cheaper.
-
I have about a dozen or so of these http://www.harborfreight.com/24-inch-bar-clamp-96213.html and a couple of the 36" ones. I used them on every box I've built and they still work like the day I bought them. If I need bigger than 36" I just hook together two 24s or a 24 and a 36.

I doubt you'll find them cheaper than at harbor freight http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=Bar+clamps

the league i compete in is actually holding a show in batavia, ny on saturday, however i wont be in attendance but we cover all of NY, however we dont span out as far as buffalo (lack of competitors that way) but we cover from here to the new england area (new hampshire, connecticut, mass, ect.)
PM me for info if your interested, biggest show of the year comin up the end of the month
There's not a lack of competitors there's a lack of competitions. Lol
Edit for spelling
in previous years we've had shows in roc, batavia, wayland, tonawonda, seneca falls, ect. and such and just have had poor turnouts all around in those areas. only real competitors we have out in that way is team 808 (which are the ones hosting the show in batavia this weekend)
we're even all the way up as far as canada as well.
Really? When I'm working on my car I hear at least 10-20 cars with systems go by an hour. I guess they don't care about competing or just don't know about comps. Please pm me some info about the show this weekend I not sure if I can make it but I'd love to go to a comp, get metered, maybe get a demo or 2, and meet some fellow bass heads
