  1. What are you wired to at the amps? How long can you play before you see 12v?Each amp is wired to 1 ohm and how long I can play depends on the frequency. 40hz and up it holds steady around 13.4v below 40hz I stay in 12s the whole song.
  2. 5 d3100's sounds like a bit overkill to me for a bc5500 and t600 unless your gonna run that 5500 at a dumb low impedance. I'm running 2 bc5500's and a c1100.4 on 5 d3100's, a kinetik hc1800 under the hood, and a 200 amp alt. I never see below 12v. I'd recommend starting with 2 d3100's and go from there. Keep a close eye on your voltage and if its dropping to low add another d3100.
  3. I know I'm late to the party but I don't see the video yet so I'll take a guess. 2873 total Edit: can I change my guess to 1986
  4. There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said about the haters/little bitches with sandy vaginas that get so butt hurt because you were mean to them "for no reason" so I'll just say thank you Steve for this great forum and everything you've done for the car audio community.
  5. Nice! I don't even need one at the time but I still want one Edit: Actually I could use a nice clean line driver!
  6. He purchased my stetsom 6k2d. He was easy to negotiate with, didn't try to low ball me or beat me up on my price. I received payment within minutes of giving him my PayPal address. I had no trouble contacting him, he responded promptly to all my pm's. Overall a pleasure to do business with, I wouldn't hesitate to sell to or buy from him in the future.
  7. Deep Hitters http://www.deephitters.org/ I think their not printing issues any more and are only going to be an e-mag
  8. Don't take your sub back read this http://www.bcae1.com/resvsimp.htm it's pretty much what stated in the post above yours with an explanation.
  9. What happens when you turn the key? Nothing or does it crank but not start? I've been having problems with my 02 the theft light randomly comes on and blinks when I try to start it, it'll crank but won't start. The only way I can start it when that happens is to use my remote start which is kind of embarrassing in a busy parching lot or gas station.
  10. I could probably trade it at buffalo gun center for something more suited for my needs and a little cash too.
  11. Thanks Nate I appreciate your opinion and I figured it wasn't for somebody that just wants to go plinking on the weekend but it doesn't seem like my amp is going to sell any time soon and I was thinking I much rather have a rifle I don't need than an amp I don't need I was also thinking that if I was ever hurting for cash it'd be easier to sell the rifle than the amp. So do you think it's worth what he's saying? I have a couple more pics I'll upload.
  12. I just want sometimg I can take to a range and shoot all day and not spend a small fortune on ammo. Edit. I'm really consider this because it will finally get me off my ass and to a range. I love shooting but for me it's audio<other interests I've been thinking about getting a .22 but then I always think well I could spend that money on a an amp/subs/building supplies. He also has an ar15 in .22 but NY has "assault weapon" laws so I don't know if it'd be legal to own.
  13. I have someone interested in trading a ruger 10/22 for my stetsom 6k2d. It has a bull barrel, laminate stock, scope, titanium firing pin extract, and a trigger job done by a local shop. Here's a pic he sent me He said it's worth about $700 which is about what I want to get out of the amp. So is it a fair trade?
  14. I'm in the same boat your in but I think I going to have mine wrapped professionally (depending on cost). I did a little research and a 4 way stretch vinyl like this http://www.yourautotrim.com/al4stvi.html is supposed to make the job a lot easier.
