I've used dynamat extreme and damplifier, the SS was thicker and cheaper than the dynamat.
Second Skin>Dynamat

I ran mine directly from the alt to the battery, and I haven't had any problems.

Is that a quasi eighth order series tuned dual reflex?
-
It's a lil cheaper here http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d.html/ref=redir_mdp_mobile/184-0285603-7767418?a=B00009K7A + free shipping. Those towers are looking great! And thanks for showing how to flush mount those 3" aero ports that's gonna save me a lot of time on my next project!

I glue then clamp. When I can't use clamps (like on angled sides) I use spax screws and glue. Spax screws=Win no predriling and they countersink themselves

Damn I was way off. Nice score

That's one sexy box! I'm interested, 144.4 daily 147.8 comp
-
A price range would be nice too. I'd suggest a Stetsom 6k2d or a Crescendo 5k when they come out.

Great vid! All the bs aside I still love this build

I just got some on my door panel but once it dried it came off... i still have to trim and paint it but it is paintable but if doing it about your head WEAR A HAT lol i learned that the hard way... also not fun on the skin so gloves can be helpful
X1000000 I got some in my hair too when I was filling some gaps in the roof of my stang. Had to get a hair cut to get the shit out

No problem. Try to get a couple more opinions before you build anything tho. I was just going by the manufactures suggested specs, if your lucky you might find someone who runs those subs and knows what size box/tuning performs best. Good luck with your build

15cu.ft. net tuned to 32hz. And I don't think those PA amps will do rated power you might want to spend a litte more and get better amps.

http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/image-overview/ I have a pair of the s4 and they sound amazing! I could only imagine what the x10's sound like

Download the box calculator in the first post http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/38791-torres-box-tuning-calculator-updated-310/ play around with the dimensions of the box and port until you get the volume and tuning you want. I'm not familiar with those subs but 18s are probably going to need 5 cubes each minimum. Depending on the music you listen to 32-36hz would be good for tuning. And aim for 12-16sq inches of port per cubic foot.

would this suffice? http://www.allspectrum.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=28
I bought my hps10 from that site. I've been using it for over a year, for setting amplifier gain it works great! Sure there's better scopes out there but if your only going to use it to set gains every once and a while I'd definitely recommend the hps10

I think op wanted to go big on a budget and didn't realize how much electrical upgrades to back that kind of power would cost
-
im srry to say this sir but i dont believe your ready to handle that type of power.. if you gotta ask ur not ready..
X2
For that kind of power I'd say- minimum the largest alt you can get for your ride, 4 hc2400s and a hc1400 or larger under the hood.

How much for the subs

I used to check out rotten.com back in highschool. Some pics that stood out were the weight lifter, shotgun suicide, and the guy who got a sniper's bullet between the eyes.

Doubble post fail

I bought a mounting sleeve for my kinetik 1800 from their eBay store their price was competitive and shipping was fast. I want to buy 4 hc2400s from them but since their located in NY and I live in NY they gotta charge sales tax

To eliminate your HU and rca's as the problem disconect the rca's from your amp then turn it on and see if the noise is still there. And depending on how bad it is some CA glue should take care of the problem with your sub
HOW DO I WIRE THESE TOWER SPEAKERS!?
