  1. i would prefer not to have to ship it anywhere, as far as i can tell, it is just the resistor that is burnt and a 99 cent part that i can replace versus a good amount to ship the amp and pay for the repair of the 99 cent part would be preferable.
  2. I have a PA Area 51 1200 amp and I recently blew out a resistor. I have tried to contact PA directly but all they could give me was a very low-res jpg of the wiring schematic and a good luck. Apparently they don't service that model anymore and very few places know how to work on them. Since it appears that only that one resistor blew, I should be able to repair it, I just need to know what resistor to use. If anyone has one and would be willing to look or has any other information as to the code for the resistor it would be greatly appreciated. The ID number for the resistor on the circut board is R100S. It is located right behind the wire connectiong running to the neon bar that runs along the top(which is what shorted it out so if you have one and are taking it apart be sure you get the wire tucked back in correctly) once again, id really apreciate any help someone could give me and thanks in advance.
