  1. i'm going to be powering 4 15" diamond audio D3 subs. they'll be dual 4OHM. however, should i get 2 amps and make them dual 2OHM or should i just get one amp and make them dual 4OHM? or any other way?

    Power Handling NOM/MAX: 500/1000 Watts

now they can handle a bit more then that. so maybe 1200 watts unless i'm using one amp then should i get more power? i'm just clueless on what i should use to power them. any ideas?

  2. i'm thinking about getting 4 15" diamond audio subwoofers. i'm going to put them in an 01' tahoe. however, i need to figure out boxes. i can either do 2 15"s in one box ported to 35HZ then do the same with the other set and just put them together in the back or i can just do one big box. if i do one big box, i need a size. can anyone help? and if one big box, should i still port it to 35HZ or a different HZ?

  3. yeah my buddy has 2 of these with an 800 watt MAX sony amp puttin around 600 rms into these same subs and hes not had a problem

but then again hes not an idiot with the with the volume knob

I'M NOT AN IDIOT! they were crappy subs. why not blow them? for fun? i really didn't care or i would've kept them down. i really didn't care if they went or not. honestly.

  4. Some times lil ass kids have to actually burn their hands on the stove b4 they believe you when u say don't touch that it'll hurt you.

ohh, you're funny. so what if i blew em? they were crap! and maybe i learned from it. maybe i didn't. but if i get better subs, maybe they won't blow if i have the cd deck up. and if they do, SO WHAT! i can get more.

  5. well the 2 15"s will go on either side of the computer, then 2 mids on each side and 2 tweeters on each side. the psu powers it. i just use crappy roadmaster 6.5 speakers for now with a 300 watt amp, a 60 watt dual cd deck, and a 145 watt psu. but i'll run a psu to the mono amp then the subs to the mono amp. i'll use the 4 channel amp powered by a psu to power the mids and highs. it's not that hard of a setup. i just need to know if it's good. and idk if the breaker will blow or not but we'll just have to find out. lol

ohh and i'll be using rca/headphone jacks for the amps with a headphone splitter so i can have both amps hooked up.

  7. alright so i've decided to add a bit of BOOOM! to my computer. lol. soo i figured why not buy car audio and put it to my computer? i already know how to hook things up. i just have to do it. soo who thinks this would be good?

    1 4 channel amp(undecided type yet)

    2 15" lanzar VW154 subwoofers

    2 Lanzar OPTI5.1 component speakers

1 mono channel amp(undecided type yet)

prices i'm not worried about. i just need to know if someone thinks that'll be good or if i should get more or less or something else or what? if you have any idea's let me know. ohhh and i'll be powering the amps by PSUs.

btw, the mono channel will power the subs and the 4 channel will power the speakers. it will probably be 300 watts for the 4 channel and between 1600 and 2000 watts for the mono channel. just in case you want to know

  9. i dont understand why you wouldn't get these off of ebay if there are available. unless you want a warranty what's the harm? i have bought plenty of quality stuff from there. don't get it

i'm not saying anything is wrong with ebay. i've got stuff off there before. but i do want the warranty. the way i play music, its best if i get it. lol. so i'll just drive up and get it with a warranty so in case something DOES happen, i can have it replaced.
