  1. I you want my opinion, in say go real carbon fiber or don't do it at all. Don't be a poser.

Sent from my carbon fiber look 3M di-noc covered iPad.

Oh I totally agree with you! It'd just save me a lot of money to do it in vinyl because either way it wouldn't be very functional. As I said, this car isn't fast at all

And I doubt getting a carbon fiber roof would be even remotely simple.

To be honest, I like the look, but as a general rule, I hate vinyls. I've seen so many of them bubble and it just detracts from the look so much, ya know?

  2. if you want to sure go ahead.

but why not do something that you thought of? like a special body kit or something ? just asking but if thats what you like do it. only your wallet(women) is stopping you if you have that problem...

It has a special body kit. Mugen ftw.

This is one of the few new hondas o would buy. Even without the body kit. Lol

  3. I think a single XL 15 or Lv 5 15 would be killer, but that's the DC fanboy in me. For a single 15 setup I'd look into the

    DD3515

DC XL or Lv 5 15

    IA DP15

    FI BTL N2 15

Sundown NS v2 or v3 when it's released

    AA Mayhem

Just to name a few, I'm not sure which will fit your budget :P

I (obviously) have no experience with either of them, but IIRC, DC-Derrick (who does) believes the XLs to be more musical than the lvl 5.

At least I think that's who said that. Now I'm doubting myself. But I know someone on here has said that.

  4. If I were in your position and doing 2 12s, I'd probably get the Obsidians or the Sundowns.

You may also want to check out the T3 section and see if you can get your hands on some equipment on the cheap.

    First, check This thread.

    Then go Here.

Where do I find a price on those? I went to their site and can't see a price.

The T-600 caught my eye. Sorry if I'm in a bit of a rush, have work relatively soon.

Going to have to email him. The address is in the second link.

  5. take it off or deal with it, either or. Most are cheap and just flip down. Ive seen a few on nicer cars where its a loud system but that rear view barely moves.

real bass heads dont have rear views, they use side mirrors :ninja:

Real bass heads cant see out of them either from them flapping or shacking so much lol. So blurry i would say.

Mine are hella blurry, but it functions well enough. Even the driver side exterior mirror.

All I need to know is how far back is that blurry blue thing.

  6. IDK. I'm almost leaning towards the lvl 4 and 1.2k. Then if I do want more power I can just double up and strap the 1.2k's. Although now IDK if i want to stick with a 12 that i know i like or try something new and get a 15. lol. I may be going to a show this weekend so maybe I will try and listen to many. :drink40::clapping:

When you say "double up" I'm assuming you mean buying another amplifier and another subwoofer?

  7. here is the best website for car dvd ,car rear view i have found so far ,www.12vcity.com .the products is high quality and the price is low,,i have bought a car rear view system from it ,and enjoy it very much http://163.fm/UlzYrXC

First post...poor grammar...dropping a link for a website and masked it behind a URL shortener. Yeah. I'm reporting this.

  8. IF you're looking for more rigidity, you'll get more rigidity by using bracing than you will by increasing box wall thickness. It will help, but you will be adding thickness (weight) for much less benefit than you would initially think.

I'm no box designer, but this is something I've read several times.

  9. I don't get 3G in my town at ALL! When I go to another town I get it and I notice a huge difference! Don't even know if my LG Quantum is 4g?

    Nope. AT&T doesn't have "real" 4G yet.

They're just running on upgraded 3G. lol

I think its kinda shitty, AT&T....

    FIXT!!!!

Meh. Coverage in my home area is fairly good. Its just whenever I travel anywhere outside of that area, I immediately drop down to Edge, and occasionally down to GSM.

Dude, I have never even owned a phone that was GSM only. Granted, I've only been having a phone for 5-6 years, but still.

If it wasn't for the fact I get unlimited data and texting and only pay $40 a month I'd have been long gone. At this point, if I want to change carriers, the only one I can switch to is Sprint, and their coverage in my home area is bad to say the least.

Its all good though. I use enough data where I feel good about myself when I go to bed at night.

  10. Didn't they buy T-Mobile and their towers to roll out 4g?

They are in the process of trying to buy out/merge with T-Mobile. They probably would use their towers to roll out 4G though.

I hope to God that the government doesn't approve this though, especially so if they don't heavily regulate. The LAST thing we need in the US's mobile environment is less competition, but I'll take heavy regulation over AT&T before I say let them loose with the vast majority of the mobile subscribers.

I'll quit crapping on this thread now. lol

  11. well just from a friends install who had a pair of the 3500.1s it would not take a true 16v system. amps went up in smoke. AQ told him no more then 15.3v

was that the newer models or older models? doesnt make since because they have 16v ratings on their site

Don't 14v systems charge at around 16v? Maybe that's what's being referred to?

EDIT: But that still wouldn't explain the 15.3v max. Hrm...

  12. If your looking to spend $20 on a shielded pair of rca patch cords it does not matter who you buy from cause they'll all be pretty close to the same and do the same.

    This holds some truth.

If you have expensive cables connecting midrange components, then no, you won't hear the difference.

If you're running high-end audio, then yes, you will hear a difference.

At that point, the question isn't if there is a difference, it is what the difference is worth to you.

I'd buy Knu if I were you. Good cable for a good price.

  13. Sure if it can hold everything you have, an external drive is the best way to save all of your music, movies and videos.

Only if its in addition to an off site backup. If you aren't backing up remotely, then you don't have "the best way" to save your stuff.

    I suggest Carbonite.

Then again, I'm more hard core than most.

Ideally, you should have at least two backups of all important things. One on site, and one off site. So that if you need to get back up and running immediately, you have all the stuff locally, but if there is some kind of disaster (fire, act of God, etc) you still have those files.

Carbonite is automatic backup. And in my opinion, its cheap for the service you get.
