amp have a cinch out do the signal running the same at 2 amps wen i go to the cinch in on the other amp ???
While I understand English likely isn't your first language, I have no idea what you're trying to say here.

Why not use aeroports and port through the rear deck?
-
Really ^^?
Sounrce of info?
Also I run mine at 2.3 - 2.6. Can't remember exactly but, if i had a place for 4 more speakers I would do 1 ohm per channel.
Its how they work, think the AP3000 something, its just 2 of there 1500's in one. They can only be ran at 2 ohms why? Because each amp is getting 1 ohm...So pushing a 4 channel under 2 ohms is like pushing a mono under 1 ohm.

If you rip the CD at a high enough bit rate, you won't hear the difference. With high end equipment, ripping at a higher bit rate becomes more necessary. The tradeoff with ripping at a higher bit rate is it requires more disk space.

Head unit -> PAC LC1 -> amplifiers.

Sorry, I misread the question. I overlooked the fact that there were 6 amplifiers and jumped to the part about there being processors in line.
This is just me talking out of my ass. I could be 100% off.
I would think you set them all with the DD1, then use the DMM to decrease output to the lowest common denominator.
I'm interested in the actual answer though.

Im just waiting for them to show up here.
Then label each one and off to the post office..
and I rub my balls on those select few that wanted that service.
Keep your balls to yourself you dirty old man.

The pulse video is going to be more in line with what you will do.

Is there anything n8 can't do?
Post a build log.
Aren't you the guy that posted about getting a new tank a couple weeks ago?

I've never seen red kicker hyperflex before. I've always seen gray or blue. I've got kicker and its good

They're a kicker reseller, so

Knu, RF, and Kicker are my choices for wires. But I usually end up using the Knu cause I compare em like you did ^^^ and Knu is the thickest. Doesn't mean I dont like the others, but with me the more the merrier.
I've yet to lay hands on RF wire, but I have used Stinger. Going off memory alone, I think its about the same as the Kicker, but with flexibility worse than either wire.
Again, its still good IMO, but I'd take Knu over Stinger. Especially since the Stinger is more expensive. lol
-
take the red one...is shinier...
They both have shine, but the knu is tinned. At least it appears that way. Its copper colored in the strand, but the outside is silver.
-
Knu is blue, kicker is red. Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to say either is a bad wire. And there may be more to it than wire thickness. But using thickness as the metric to judge wire by, Knu wins.
I guess it can't help that knu is fused for 120a and the Kicker for 8O.

Its a damn shame, but my phone takes better macro shots than my PnS does. Pics in a couple.

Tony and Juan worked on Ray's order till almost 4am........and had to be to work at 8am. They are being shipped to Ray's Shop this afternoon. It should only take one day since Fresno isnt too far from Camarillo. We are truly trying to make everyone happy so please, excuse us while we try to get caught up! Once caught up, i dont think ill have a problem sending them out the same day if not the next day at the worst after i have them in stock.
i am still 3 weeks away from having them readily available like that though, as we are obviously working on getting pre-orders finished up.
thanks again eveyrone!
While I too am antsy about getting my hands on this thing, having two guys go into work on less than 4 hours of sleep?
I can wait a day or two longer. I know I wouldn't want to work on 2-3 hours of sleep.

But with a twist.
Right now I have knu and kicker 4 gauge sitting on the side of me. One is for my uncle's build and the other is for a family friend. We used Knu in my dad's truck and I like it. A lot. But I was hearing good things about Kicker, so for the family friend's set up, I decided to go Kicker and see how it compares. They are both equal gauge OFC copper and claim to be flexible. In my book, that means they are meant to be compared.
Long story short, the Kicker is noticably more flexible. Maybe not enough to make a difference when running it, but it definitely wins in the flexibility department.
However, the Knu is thicker. Where as the outside diameter of the knu is just a little thicker than the Kicker, the Kicker has about double the jacketing.
My experience only lies with the 4 gauge though. Whether or not these statements stand when you move up to 1/0 I'm not sure about. However, since the Knu is only slightly more expensive (knukonceptz.com vs sonicelectronics.com), almost as flexible, and is thicker, I know where I'm spending my money next time.

Dont the cp amps make the same power at 2 ohms and 1 ohm?
In which case, while you would see some benefit of getting a 1 ohm load, I personally don't think it would be worth it.
-
haha ill pass on teh rape...but i dont mind selling to NY
He'll be so disappointed.
But hdorre probably knows more about CA than I do, so...

Would it still power on with a fried board or blown resistors?
I guess they thought if they wrapped the metal in electrical tape it would be okay.. It is peculiar that the tape melted today, though. The positive post must've been very hot. But my ground is good, so I don't know why it would heat up like that.
The amp wasn't soaked, but most of the water landed on the speaker terminals.
Definitely gonna meter everything in a few days when it's completely dry.
My logic tells me that it may not, but it may just be that the outputs have died. Could be wrong though. I'm not super familiar with electronics in that sense.
You have interesting interests. lol
What do you have for your substage if you don't mind me asking?
I'd definitely go back to the shop and see what they have to tell me.

get a used referbished dell latitude laptop on ebay you can get one for around $350 to $450 its all you need plenty fast enough and way better build heavy duty compared to those flimsy walmart laptops for the same price save yourself the money for your woofers and amps i never buy a new laptop for $900 thats crazy
lol I would not buy a refurb computer off of ebay. Warranty anyone? As a student, having a computer you know you can send in and in a week or two have a fully functioning computer in your hands is worth money.
But he is right about the Latitude line.

If you do decide to go the component route, you could always hit the junk yard and get a pair of A-pillars. That way all you'd have to do is swap them back.
If you want to do coax, I understand. Just making you aware of options.

I'm going to guess Linear Power, but what?
-
If I'm using my ipad, its volume up on the head unit, down on the ipad.
If I'm using my phone its down on the radio, up on my phone.
Is there a "right" way of doing it? IDK. Both methods work for me though.
You guys will probably get a kick out of this!
