And soldered the wire into the ring terminals
Box lid is on with some more liquid nail and screws letting it dry over night then sprayin the outside in rhino lining.
-
Taking out old wiring... melted fuse block..
Shitty 4 gauge.. theres my problem.
Ground
Amp with new reducers for the 0 gauge
Back emptied out
Sub 2 of them
Box build up
-
yea exactly what i was thinking more convenient and no blowing just didn't know if they were gimmicky or not
-
well im positive my ground is good i already had had a problem with it so i grinded down the paint on the frame and bolted it down and sprayed no rust on it and for the fuse i was thinking of getting a 140 circuit breaker do those work or should i stick with an anl with a 150 amp fuse or a afs fuse those seem pretty cool.
-
so even if i upgrade the fuse chances are all burn it up again?
-
I have 2 fi ssd 12's hooked up to a hifonics 1610D mono amp at 1 ohm i have it ran with 4 gauge wire and the fuse in the line after the battery i've had two holders melt down now.. What the hell is going on? the original fuse was a 125 and then i went to a 100 now im at nothing till i get another holder.
-
ok thanks guys
-
the speakers are 1 ohm though
-
See i had it set like that but there in 2 separate sealed boxes so i tried to cheat and rather then connect the 2 subs positives and negatives together i ran both subs to separate outputs. There 12" Fi SSd's 1 ohm and my receiver has 3 volts for the pre amp
-
A hifonics 1610D stable at 1 ohm i upgraded the big 3 and have a yellow top and my ground i peeled back all the carpet and grinded off the paint and its straight to the chasis
-
Yea it's the amp for sure i've had the same problem with 3 different hifonics amps now and i have it wired the same way
-
Anyone?
-
I wired it to a 1 ohm load but instead of connecting the wires before they get to the amp i have them both going to the separate outputs and all the gains and adjusts have only been about 1/8 the way
-
well i don't know because i've had 3 amps fuck up now
-
If i wire 2 dual 1 ohm subs both with 1 set of coils connected and then run the other wires to a mono amp and i put them both in there own slots since it has 4 outputs am giving the amp a .5 ohm load because the amp wiring the connections in parellel internally?
-
Not great yet just getting started
-
for 299 you can get a dat hellfire 1000.1 great amp
-
well found out they both cost exactly the same lol even down to the shipping. So i think im going to go with the hellfire because there are actual test ratings and there pretty high over the vfl 100 and i cant find the 110 anywhere and that one would be more expensive
-
well is the vfl 100.1 good? and are they better than the hellfire amps because those look pretty nice
-
well if there all very close whats the cheapest because i can't find a price on the dat or american bass amp. i found a vfl 100.1 and it says 1500 watts. is it actually 1500?
