Bump for a good amp. I had one of these runnin my cvrs and it banged clean and loud. Amp runs extremely cool just needs good voltage.

When you guys get there you should hit up downtown disney. Make an evening out of it and eat at the house of blues and then go catch a show at the cirque dis olay theater 30 yards away.

I just got rid of a set of kicker ks comps. Not sure about the rs but I know the ks had almost no midd base at all. Although with the kickers the tweeters screamed. I just ordered me 2 sets of mb quart discus 6.5s. I heard some a few years back and loved them so figured I would give them a try. Ill let ya know what I think of em in a week or so.

Me too lol. Iv been in it for a while now. Kinda lookin twords an sq setup now. Problem is my escape rattles all over now from flexin it to death lol. Im not puttin an sq something that rattles. I wanna be able to drowned that shit out till I get a new car lol.

My last budget setup consisted of a pioneer deck 2cvr12s with grills 4 kicker s 6x8s in the doors with 2 ks 3/4" tweets up front. I ran everything off of my headunit and also had a kenwood kac-9103d mono block that did 900rms at 1ohm with a schosh amp kit. All under $700. Fuckin sounded killer but just was never loud euff. So here I am a couple K deep into my new system and still tryin to make it louder. lol. I try to tell every one that bass isnt a bad habbit its a fuckin disease with no cure.

When do my sq setup Im gonna run 2 of thos off of my saz-3000d ported. The box looks likei ts commin along good man. let me know the sound difference between the ported and sealed once you finish. I almost bought 2 of those instead of my 2 bls. At the time I just wanted loud though.

God i love those subs. Im yet to own a pair but will be getting them for my next install when I get a new car. (sq setup with some balls)

I dont meen to slam all the shop owners on here but when you paid 650 for "shit" equipment you where paying for the labor and installation not the products. If you piece your won stuff together and shop around you could have had a bomb ass system.

IMa tell you something that was told to me and it was the best piece of advice Iv ever had. Save longer and buy quality equiptment rather than skimping yourself and settling for something on a "budget". When you buy cheap equipment it has a tendency to break and by time you replace that "budget" piece of equipment you could have bought you something nicer from the get go. Just my .02 that I wish I had learned when I first got into car audio.

Ya I grounded them right at the headunit and no luck. Oh well. Ima get the new one in and hook it up. If that one ends up doing the same thing Ill send it back and tell pioneer to kiss my ass.

Tried this multiple times and its never worked. i even tried running a complete new ground from the radio to the chassis myself not just using the stock one.

Iv had the same stinger stage 2 rcas on my saz-3000d as I did my 1500d. The pioneer I had on it worked fine until it started making a huge hiss. Then I swapped it with the avh-4000dvd and it still had a small whine. Before this Iv had other problems in other cars with the rcas goin out. My first pioneer worked great for 6 months then made a hiss. Took it into bestbuy and swapped it out. That one made a worse hiss. Then I went back in one more time and the 3rd one never made a noise. I must just have bad luck with the pioneers. I did unplu my rcas from my head unit and run them off the deck in my brothers car and it didnt make a noise. So I definatly know that its the deck.

With that amount of power just buy a slightly larger stock battery and youl be fine. I would suggest the big 3 and maybe a new alt depending on your car.

Ima looki nto some clarions then. The fact that the avh-4000dvd is a great head unit at a killer price is all null and void when it doesnt play music over my maps worth a shit.
