I agree with you guys too. Not every body likes the same thing. Yes steves paint looks "brown" in the pic. But ya know what. Even if it was brown I actually like the way it looks. Steve has never said a cross word to me in the slightest way so hes all good in my book. Infact Iv seen him do nothing but try and educate the ignorance on other forums in a polite yet direct manor. Do I think he should have replied the way he did to some teenager over the internet no. But when I put myself in his shoes I probley would have said/done worse considering the trash talking that was going on. Like you said. Fuckin with some one os one thing but leave there family and friends the hell out of it.

Some one told me you cant strap an old heat sink with a new heatsink 1500d. I always thought you could becouse supposedly the only thing that changed was the amp casing. Can some one give me some input on this?

Boxes are super sexy man. And i feel ya on the lowes panel saw. Theres one kid that only works on sundays at the one by me that can get my cuts 100% perfect everytime on the panel saw and doesnt even charge me for it. If its not him cutting it thenm there all fucked up. I foundout the hard way that a skil saw 6ft 2x4 some clamps and a square work best unless you have a huge table saw.

Jacob is there any way I could just get two motors and matchign ten inch baskets. Im starting to build my own subs from ground up. I think theyd be a great way to get the hang of it. The escape is going bye bye for a 4 door pick up truck. Small cabs + termlab = WIN!!!

Just a teaser of what i got planned for it. Recone and new parts are on the way. Fully loaded Fi bl motor all polished out and clearcoated. Ima go ahead and spill some of the plans now. Its goin on an saz 1500d at 1 ohm in a kerfed t line enclosure at 38hz. Im not postin coil specs or pics yet until they get here though. Gonna be a big ass sub. Also Scott and Nick are the most professional and coolest dealers Iv ever dealt with. Fi is by far the best sub company to deal with. Quality and customer service both.

I know that fi re dc and sundown are under rated. You cn actually sock a bit more than rated power to any of there subs. The trick is to not send a clipped signal to the subs or they will start to get hot and evntually burn down the coil. There are two kinds of power handling. Thermal and mechanical. mechanical all depends on the spider configuraion and the type/size of the enclosure. Thermally is all in the craftmanship of the soft parts. So you cant really say that sub x is rated for this much power. Its only a rough guideline of what to run to it.
