  1. I wanted to paint my bike with that paint so bad back when i couldnt drive! wtf was i thinking?
  2. not yet, doesn't hit hard at all so figured i wouldn't even bother. this amp powered all four for longer than my brand new amp! its a trooper
  3. same thing happened to me yesterday, no protect, no blown fuses, solid ground, good wires, amp turns on but no power! take it you dont have a warranty?
  4. 2 12" sony xplods in a sealed 2 cu feet box on 280 watts! haha, my amp is out for repair so this is what im using atm! fat ass wire in a little amp a little bit of trunk space! my custom arm rest! haha
  5. yup f150 your right.... took out my box today and realized i mixed up the positive and negative on the box. they are home made terminal and when i painted the box i thought i could remember which was pos and which was neg but obviously not... took the amp out re-boxed it and hoping the warranty covers it. i put 2 of the 12"s in a sealed box i originally had and hooked it up to my 280 watt amp and cleaned it up. oh and of course when im testing out my 2 12"s i get my first complaint from an old man down the road. he said " im tiried of you shaking my windows every day! i know you proud of your system, but you needa go out in the woods and do that!" i was like ok... and ate my taco =D
  6. i have some 10g speaker wire running from the amp to the box terminals, in the box is 12g. after replacing the 16g speaker wire that was outside with 10g this whole incident happened. it was wired the exact same way. could that have messed it up? can channels in amps go out?
  7. alright well more news, hooked the subs back up after checking EVERYTHING and still nothing. So unhooked my highs and cranked it all the way up. i could hear a tiny bit of bass and voice coming from the subs. could the channel be bad? cause i hooked it up to a 6x9 and still could barely hear anything.
  8. damn i hope its not bad, its almost brand new and i havent even got it warm yet!
  9. well i ran into my first major problem today. I went to touch my bass knob and as soon as i touched it the led flash red and everything shut off. the amp turns on without going into protect, my ground is solid, no blown fuses, and its not the subs because i hooked up another sub to the amp and it just wont send power to it! i have no idea what the problem is. ive been staticy the whole day and when i touched it it shocked me and shut off... plz help?
  10. power is 4g, and i have each pair of subs wired parallel running to the amp so what would that be wired to?
  11. yeah its ported, idk what its tuned to because i made the box a while back out of some scrap. its pretty intense for some sonys, im about to upload another vid. its wired to 2 ohms and the amp says 750 watts rms at 2 ohms
  12. Before you hate/ask =D the loud speaker is just there momentarily because my door and deck speaker are all blown and removed. I also dont know why my trunk lid light comes on when the bass hits..? Couldnt turn it up all the way when i made the vid cause my parents where home.
