  1. cool thanks. would it still work if i had both the ipod and sat radio hooked up at the same time but only had the 1 im using at the time powered up?
  2. OE wow that brings back some memories!! lol now its just miller lite and corona. i cant do the OE anymore
  3. ok, im pretty sure i understand what you are saying, so heres what you should do. starting with your front battery run you 1/0 into your fuse holder. then from your fuse holder to the trunk into another fuse holder. then from that fuse holder to your rear battery. that way if anything happens to your 1/0 from the front to the back, both of your batteries will be protected. now, depending on how many amps ypu are running you could go 2 different ways with the next part. scenario #1: single amplifier w/ 4 gauge input: run 4 gauge from rear battery into amp. fusing optional. plain and simple scenario #2: multiple amplifiers w/ 4 gauge inputs: run 1/0 from rear battery into fused dist. block, then from dist. block run 4 gauge to your amps. i hope this clears up any confusion for you. good luck w/ your install EDIT: and if i got anything wrong here please correct me anyone
  4. douchbags that come into my work thinking we owe them something... FUCK THAT!!!!!!!!!
  5. a gain on an amp is not to adjust the output of the amp itself, it is used to match your head units RCA preout voltage. as far as the reason your amp went into protect, i would say that you impedence change to something your amp cant handle.
  6. also does any1 know if i would be able to hook up multiple aux sources to a 3sixty? im wanting to run an ipod as well as an xm radio. that was 1 thing i liked about the cleansweep. you could get the source expander switch and add up to 3 aux inputs.
  7. yea im guessing a 3sixty is gonna be the way to go. i just dont know if it will be the .1 or .2. i was leaning towards the 3sixty b4 i started this thread just to stick with all RF. it looks like ill be selling a cleansweep b4 long.
  8. sounds like the .1 may be they way to go for me then. im not really keen on the tuning aspect of car audio. steve, thanks for your help. if anyone knows RF, i would put my money on you. BTW, i sent u a PM awhile back. i know your a busy man, but if you get the chance to look at it... anyhow thanks again steve.
  9. would it matter if it was the .1 or.2? and are they fairly easy to work with? ive never used a processor before cuz every car ive ever had i was able to swap out the head unit, but with this car it is next to impossible.
  10. just wondering if i should keep my jl audio cleansweep or sell it and buy a 3sixty. i dont have it hooked up yet cuz i havnt started on my install, but i would like to know if anyone has used them both and which 1 they prefer. any 1 that is familiar with either please let me know what you think.
