well my H/U's ground is just conected to the car's ground wire. And how do i connect the Wire to the Rca's ground? i want to try this before i buy a new H/U. But i need more info from you more experienced people. And do i have to ground each Rca. So all 6?

shitty thing about that is, ill need like 1-2 more. If its the 4 channel Rca's ill need one more, if its the 4 channel rca's and the sub rca's then ill need two more. :censored: And my friend has the same head unit and same Sub rca's. why does he have no engine noise. My amp was hot too, but using my dmm i wasnt having big voltage drops, I'll redo it tommorow and get u guys numbers

So should i reset my gain. WITH the bass knob all the way down? so would that mean that the gain knob will be turned up higher? Asking him about the heating of he sub?

Again, would the ground loop isolater work for this? i have it ready to be installed but i want to know if itll work 1st. lol

sorry if this isnt what you mean, but. I had my gain knob turned higher at the start, cuz it was louder (with the knob). But i didnt want to risk my shit so i turned it down to half. So i think i gave it "headroom".

really? so what would you suggest? like buy cd's? or buy from itunes, cuz i doubt a lot of people do that. So does that mean all those people are risking their amps and subs? for using limewire for example

I thought that so i bought a ground loop isolater. That what you mean? No its ran down the opposite side, but it does come like within a foot of it in the trunk. But i dont see that as a prob, i also think that my front right speaker wire grounded itself to the chassis. It doesnt play, but the tweeter still plays, so that means the crossover is still getting the power. Could this be the problem?

I set the gain with the RF bass knob all the way up and the gain is about 1/2 way up. I did it by ear and the people at the shop have said that it sounded fine, without distortion. and no port noise, or air turbualnce. I dont believe i am playing clipped songs, im just playing music. Jeezy, chicken hill, stuff like that.

You dont think im pushing too many watts to it? my birthsheet is at 1400 at about 14.4 volts. (im at about 14.1-14.2.)

I have some engine noise, and it didnt do it untill the 4 channel amp was put in. I used stinger Rca's and i ran them clean no cuts or anything. ALSO, i had my sub hooked up before the 4 channel, and i had 0 noise out of my sub. now i do.... i dont know how they are connected. I have a clean ground, and my H/U is new. so any suggs?

Probably in total around an hour of driving. Stopping at a shop, then go, then stop, then go. Overall prob about an hour.

I dont think im still breaking the sub in. I have had it since about mid march. I dont always have the bass boost up, but i do ride around with it all the way up for a couple minutes at a time. and i didnt use the bass boost on the H/U, i used the bass knob. It was warm not like scalding hot, but warmer than i have ever felt a sub.

I was driving around town for a while running errands, i DID use the bass knob turned about 1/2 way. However i set the gain with the bass knob all the way up so i didnt "over power" the sub. I have a 12 Fi Bl w/ cooling. Its getting about 1375 watts at about 14 volts. Should i be worried ?

Save another 50 bucks and get the audioque. Thats my .2
