if your on a budget whats your budget or what you would like to spend but for good 18's or even 12's looking in to dd 9500 or incriminator audio death pentlys and or the wardends idk what your buget is tho
-
id say incriminator audio love there subs ,id also look in to treo ive heard good things about them but i really dont know much about them
-
im like the only person on here who even runs cadence lol
ive run cadence before but where the better video plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
-
IIRC it was 4 cubes sealed and 3 ported with 100sq in of port.
Still haven't made any cuts yet. I can cut down on the port area, I just thought that anything smaller than 5 wide could result in turbulence, IDR where I read that but I thought I saw it somewhere.
from what ive heard you dont really get it in less you run ashit tone of power and all on a lil port you shouldnt have to worrie about that ive built many boxes with ports that are only like 2in ports and i get nothing
-
what song it in the first video but looks good man have you got it metered yet or no
-
thats some nice ass window flex where are you tuned at
-
Once I got a plan finalized it was basically the size of my entire trunk and I had no idea how to build it in there, since there's a package tray in the way of half of it and I can't slide it in from the front without cutting stuff out which I don't wanna do...yet.
how many cube did it turn out to be

if you have room id see about the 4th order they sound great on music and get great lows to along
-
looks really clean man me likey
-
yea, windows down work pretty good though, nothing close to doors open.
i have been looking at some 4th order and 6 order boxes
i got a q about certain 6th orders. whats the difference with a sixth order that just ports the front chamber and the back chamber, and one that ports the rear chamber into the front chamber and ports the front chamber?
from what i understand about them i might be wrong but from what i under stand a 4th has the bandwith of a sealed box due to being part seal and the ported part help you pick up your lows better so there great for playing anything and with a 6th order there great for lows due to having 2ported chambers and move a shit ton of air so they dont pick up every thing that a 4th order would but what they pick up they will be louder kinda like a normal ported and sealed just more effecient
-
but you dont ride around with your doors open lol thats great for demos but if im not mistaken i think you want it to be like that sealed up try a 4th order its ported and sealed
-
Having them optional colors would not be cost or time effective... our powder coat place is about 15 miles away. If we had one right here in town like the machine shop I'd do it.
ya i hear you just throwing out some opptions out there do black or raw look and just keep a few in stock at all times idk but raw does look nice
-
have a list of colors including the raw one and make it an opption people can order
-
i see on here talking about a 3 to 1 design or 4 to 1. is that just the ported box is three times the volume of sealed?
i started to think about maybe a sixth order with a single 15 to try it out, but in reading that they are horrible on music.
4th and 6th orders are great on music htere some of hte best ive heard im in the middle of building up a truck with 4 18's in a 4th or 6th order bandpass (depending on the room we have) me and bossgator are working on his truck and its going to be tuned low but there great on music from what ive always been told 4th orders are for getting loud and 6th orders are great on lows
-
i was told before that a smaller ported box will do better on the higher notes, but how much will that effect the lows?
for bandpass, i have been playin around with some, but i dont really have an idea how to build them. I might not have the room either.
ive always used smaller ports for better lows im not a huge fan of high bass so idk on that part but bandpass are better for that just you need more room bandpass will get you louder if there done right there simple to design and build if you know what your doing i havent learn to design bandpass for my self tho but if you have to do a lil smaller set up to do a bandpass i would it will get you just as loud or not louder
-
do a bandpass box they have a bigger bandwith so youll cover move of what your looking for that or you could do a bunch of subs but port it,just most of hte time you cant get lows and higher bass notes but with bandpasses there a lil more frequiencies you can have
-
what would be good to tune to for everyday?
35hz - 40hz is a normal tuning for ported box but if you like lows you could go a lil lower if you want i tune my stuff to like 28hz and up depening on who im building a box for but i personaly like around 30hz cause i listen to a lot of slowed music
-
I hate to do this but i call bullshit on a true 5,000 watts daily on a 9518....
belive what you want man ive seen it he has runs 2 candence ia 9's on his 18's if you turn the gains down a lil you can do it
edit:plus you can get a stiffer spider
-
my buddys a dd dealer and all the dd 9518 he uses have around 5k on daily
edit:but you have to have some volume control
-
maybe for a couple things.
and i found out that MB quart DWI 204 and the Concept zt-122 BOTH can be found for the same price on other sites.
then go to the other sites lol but ya tyle the site looks a lil fischy
-
ive used them and there ok but they wont put out no where near 4000 watts id spend the lil extra and get a sundown amp or one of the better quality amps cause that amp will barly push them subs
-
hifonics
