    sounds nice. as you can see by my sig, i want to go big. lol. do you do comps? i'm hoping to make it a daily driver too, so that's why i want a truck and only 4 15"s so i can still use it as a daily driver.

    OOOHHHH....I just noticed "Audio: started by the end of this year", at first glance, I thought you had ALL that $h!t. I guess I should maybe put what I have/hope to have in my sig....haven't done that yet!

    So....what do YOU HAVE?

    I HAD, but can't find an older 1200 watt KICKER amp, but like I say, can't find it, that....or somebody jacked it out of the garage! I'll probabley go with a KICKER SX900.2, specs:

    425 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms (850 watts RMS x 1 bridged at 4 ohms)

    variable high-pass (10 Hz - 16 kHz, 36 dB/octave) and low-pass (30 Hz - 20 kHz, 36 dB/octave) filters

    4 memory banks store intricate EQ cut/boost, low-pass crossover, phase, bass boost, sub-sonic filter, and compression settings.

    I know a guy with a audio shop in town, I can get it for like $300 or less.

    That had the yellow Orion truck on the cover? One of the tracks had Beavis and Butthead on it, another had the beginning of the track with this guy saying 'yo honey, sweet heart. Why dont you come ride with me in my low rider(i think he said low rider haha) and I'll kick them 2000 watts for you, Hey.'

    Has been driving me nuts. If it helps, its from the 90's hahaha.

    Soooo....no box ideas/suggestions, other than "go with what kicker say" ? I haven''t found my amp yet, think maybe somebody jacked it! ( The back door is opened to the garage at all times, so the dogs can go in and out.) I am using a friends craptastic prefab box ( to small! ), and even more craptastic "JENSEN POWER" 880 2 channel. amp (800 watts my ass!) My first set up was small, 2 12s, a pro box, and a JBL 300.1 mono amp, with a 4 gauge wire kit. NOW....I put this stuff in on the fly today, adjusted everything, and anything over 20 (volume) it goes into protection mode, and either one of the two fuses on the amp, or the fuse under the hood! (the amp fuses are 30s, and under the hood was a 50, I put a 80 in it now.) Do I need to run bigger wire, or just find my amp/buy another one? A LITTLE HELP WOULD BE NICE....PLEASE!

    get the dual 2 ohm subs wire them to 2 ohm and find an amp that will produce about 1000rms at 2 ohm. my kicker 750.1 did them great. its rated at 750 but i had it benched at about 850. as far as a box go with exactly what kicker says. in the experiences ive had with my cvrs they dont like to be tune realy low.

    You say go wit what kicker says....this is what they say:

    Ported Box Volume (cubic feet) 3 - 5

    Port diameter (inches) N/A

    Port length (inches) N/A

    How would I figure these, if they don't even have specs?!?

    yes, i know this, but again, i make enough PROVABLE and TAXED income to get anything on that lot - ive never ever had a problem getting a car and ive paid every one of them off from the first payment to the very last....

    knowing what i make and what my bills are, its not a debt to income ratio problem - it COULD be that i have too much credit activity going on at once.

    I honestly, even though i can, dont want to take on a $50,000 loan anyway.....id really like to stay in the 40's or lower even if i have to settle for an 07 or 08.

    we'll see, im starting to get the urge to go looking again as i sit at my desk.

    I feel ya on that Steve....I'm looking at a new house, and a new ride for the wife, but I have too much credit activity going on too! We just paid her car off, but if we were to sell it, chances are, we wouldn't get what we want for it....same thing with the house!LOL Hell it might be a good thing though....with the way the economy is and all....who knows!
