  1. well forget all that onstar and electronics, its oldschool, a 94.

some new info has been brought to my attension, but i will post that tommorow.

If that is the case (the year) then if he (ur grandpa) still has it, there should be a credit card sized plastic key, it will get you in, and start it as well....it was one of those "one time only" emergency things! I had a 94 Silverado, and I lost my keys, but had that in my wallet! Worked like a charm....ONE TIME!

  2. Umm guy.. Take me seriously here.... Until you can afford a new tank.. Go over the hole with a bar of soap. Soap will seal it until you can get it fixed

Not to sound like a ass, but I never said I couldn't afford it, just wondered how much a new one would cost, OR how to fix it! Once again....not being a ass about it, and it IS serious, this I know, if it wasn't, I wouldn't have asked for advice. Money isn't a big thing, it's more of a time thing!! (but hey...when you have one, you never have the other! LOL)

  3. II had the same problem about a year ago, I used the the pack with the red and black tubes. You can get it at walmart in the automotive section or an auto parts store. Find out exacly where(or close) to where its leaking, clean it up a little with a old rag. Then get you some latex glove, mix the two tubes together then using your hand coat it on. You might need to coat it a few times to seal it up all the way.
i'd check the filler hose for the leak, if its the tank itself(pinhole or crack) you can rub a bar of soap over the area and it'll stop it for a little bit, otherwise you'll have to replace the tank,or have a shop weld up the area.

Thanx guys! I cant say I have ever heard the bar soap one. If I cant fix it, I'll just replace it!

  4. I like, and own KENWOOD, this one seems to have everything you want/need.
