well forget all that onstar and electronics, its oldschool, a 94.
some new info has been brought to my attension, but i will post that tommorow.
If that is the case (the year) then if he (ur grandpa) still has it, there should be a credit card sized plastic key, it will get you in, and start it as well....it was one of those "one time only" emergency things! I had a 94 Silverado, and I lost my keys, but had that in my wallet! Worked like a charm....ONE TIME!

Umm guy.. Take me seriously here.... Until you can afford a new tank.. Go over the hole with a bar of soap. Soap will seal it until you can get it fixed
Not to sound like a ass, but I never said I couldn't afford it, just wondered how much a new one would cost, OR how to fix it! Once again....not being a ass about it, and it IS serious, this I know, if it wasn't, I wouldn't have asked for advice. Money isn't a big thing, it's more of a time thing!! (but hey...when you have one, you never have the other! LOL)

That might be it, mine leans a little to on side too! I had somebody say that they thought my back wheels/wheel looked funny.
-
in the meantime i suggest some....
to clean up the gas leaks.
Ahhh....glad to see every body has jokes on this site!!! LOL It's just like I'm at work, man those guys LOVE to give me shit, I can take it, I dont mind!

I NEED TO LOWER MINE....LIKE REAL BAD!!!
It just looks funny to me, I ordered a kit from McGaughys for my 2wd K5 blazer, and it sat real level, it wasnt to bad price wise!
-
ha ha ha. yeah, i actually have thought about putting two 15's in the back and I know that would drop it a little, but not that much. I'm also thinking about 24's on the Tahoe too. Anyway, I'm wondering if I could just order some of the drop springs off the McGaughy's (or however it's spelled) kit and just use those??
YES!
tHAT'S SEXY!

What about this one? Only reason I put this on here, is because it's not to far from me....well not as far away as Austin!

I wanted to go last year, but had to work! I think I might try to take off this year, that would be cool to attend.
-
is the top of the tank wet?
Nah, it's right where the top curves down to the side, on the frame side.
-
Here is a pic, its the best I could get!
It's a tight fit between the tank and the frame, if I WAS to try and fix it, I'd have to drop the tank to get to where it's leaking!
-
its an offroaders trick if they split their fuel tank on the trail, they use the soap to seal it up so they can keep going.
That's cool....learn something new every day!
-
best idea is just to replace it.... sorry but i wouldnt fuck with leaking gas lol.....
right!! I wonder what kinda $$$'s that will take? That is going to cut into my system upgrade money....I guess it'sokay though....better than going up in flames!!! lol

09 impala like a 15"
Wow...idk, whoever would be in the back, would have a screen right in the face! It's ur car, depends on how bad you want one I guess! I don't think I would do it imo. Do you have a in dash one? Maybe some head rest....that is if you don't have them!

II had the same problem about a year ago, I used the the pack with the red and black tubes. You can get it at walmart in the automotive section or an auto parts store. Find out exacly where(or close) to where its leaking, clean it up a little with a old rag. Then get you some latex glove, mix the two tubes together then using your hand coat it on. You might need to coat it a few times to seal it up all the way.i'd check the filler hose for the leak, if its the tank itself(pinhole or crack) you can rub a bar of soap over the area and it'll stop it for a little bit, otherwise you'll have to replace the tank,or have a shop weld up the area.
Thanx guys! I cant say I have ever heard the bar soap one. If I cant fix it, I'll just replace it!

Get that shit that Billy Mays sells. Mighty putty rofl.
UUhh....NO! Thanx but no thanx! Billy Mays can suck it, with his OxyClean, and all that other "AS SEEN ON T.V." STUFF. LOL

JB weld it real good.
Do they make some for plastic, more importantly, for gas tanks??

Anybody have a good idea/product for fixing a gas tank? I have a 2000 Chevy Tahoe, and I noticed a strong smell of gas today after i filled up. When I got to the house, I checked the cap, it was fine, then I got under it to take a look. It looks as if it is leaking from the top side of the tank. (its on the side, towards the top, next to the frame.) Any advise would be great!

Whats the car, how bigs the sunroof, and how big of a screen????

Oooohh....the one I listed above is about $1200, they also have this one, Kenwood KVT-514. It has damn near all the same features, only the screen it a tad bit smaller, and it's like $650....so check them out @ KENWOODUSA.COM.

I like, and own KENWOOD, this one seems to have everything you want/need.
