  1. So, I'm thinking of something else to work on. This old man down the street died, and a family member is selling his truck, it's a 1993 Chevy s-10 extended cab. It's got the 4.3 Vortec V6, and has like 105,000 miles on it. Now, they want $3,500 for it, I was thinking more like $2,000, if that! It's nice, I looked it over, and the ONLY thing I could SEE wrong with it, is the chrome trim over the wheel opening on the back passenger side. (that, and it has a camper shell, and a visor of some sort) So, I guess my question to you guys is would any of you buy something like this, I think the potential is endless, not to mention, I had one back in 99, and I LOVED it!

Here is a pic of a pic of my old S-10, it was a hoopty deluxe for sure!!! LOL

  2. what kind did you get, and did you get every single tool availible to do the job? i did mine last year... i feel you brother i swear my wife and i almost killed each other in the process. all the big areas went smooth, but walkways, doorways, and threshholds just plain sucked ballz... take many breaks and dont rush it. make sure all tongues and grooves are clean before joining or you will feel the seems dont forget you can fudge on the edges because your baseboard will cover them. wedges, a BIG mallet, and patience is a virtue!

To answer the type/brand, it's Pergo. Yes, I got all the tools, however I was still having problems. I finished up a little while ago, looks good I guess, considering it was the first time and all. It was a BIG deal a couple different times, but it all worked out. With the living room, and the two little hallways, it was just shy of 323 sq. feet. I will pay somebody to do it for me next time!!! Glad to see others of you share my frustration, made me feel a little better....thanx!!

  3. Any of you guys ever done the locking wood floors? We/I am doing them, and it's kicking my ass! On top of that, It's caused a few blow ups between my wife and I! It wouldn't be so bad if I had some help, and it wouldn't be so bad if she hadn't just sprung it on me all of the sudden like! I have never, ever, ever, ever done this shit, and it is realy stressing me the fuck out! Thought I'd take a break, and get on, and see if any of you have done them, ANY help/advice would be GREAT!!!! (tips/tricks....so on.)

  4. Okay, I am a manager at a local Tire lube and Express, me and a technician were looking for the locking lug nut tool, when we found a giant ass fleshy pink dildo, Right under the driver seat... He reached down and just got this fucking funny as hell look on his face, pulled his hand back out and was like, "Dude there is a big ass dildo under her seat... " I burst into laughter as he runs to the bathroom to wash his hands..

This was a big ole girl too nothing attractive about her!! I mean like 280 lbs and 5'10... *cries*

That's funny!!! I almost pissed my pants I was laughing so hard! Man....talk about a Amazon woman....DAMN!!!

  5. IBeam® is the next generation of high definition bass solutions. It efficiently energizes the listeners auditory cortex without pressurizing surrounding air by transmitting information via bone harmonics and other direct stimulus routes. IBeam® localizes bass and reduces "noise pollution" by increasing the portion of tactile sound as "felt" by only the listener.

Wow....they make it sound so high tech, this one is dumb too! SORRY rockford, wonder if any of these caught on, better yet, wonder if they sold any??? (of any brand!)

  6. I have purchased a few off ebay from a guy in canada and the quality sucks I was hoping some of you guys could tell me where to buy good quality stuff.

    Thanks, Dan

Got to eBay, look up Piranha Records, or you can find them on MySpace. He is out of Round Rock, Tx., outside of Austin. He will have ANYTHING &EVERYTHING you are looking for/need!

EDIT: I wouldn't buy shit out of Canada!!!!
