    have fun

and i believe its as strong as steel not fiberglass

It's unbelievably strong, I should know! I sandwiched four layers of the 8 oz., a 1/4" thick, and it almost stopped a .45 cal at point blank range!!! I work for Owens Corning, so I mess with fiberglass of all kinds 12 hrs. a day. I make the fabric that goes into the wind generator blades, for all the wind energy companies. Here is a couple pics of some 8 oz. black twintex that is used in our consolidators

    This shit is BAD ASS!!!

  2. small update: i think most of it is over us now...but its still rainin and hailin...there was a pretty large wall cloud over us and i tried to take some pictures, but it was too dark for my phone to pick up anything. We got hail...probably about quarter sized....lots of rain....and lots of lightning....its settled down a lot but still gettin small hail and lotsa rain. oh by the way, im in Gainesville...if anyone knows where that is...the big part of the storm is headed towards the Sherman area now...

Really....Gainesville, I lived there for like five or six years! How old are you, and how long you lived there?

  3. I feel you, I have 2 cvr 15s, and I am box less too! ( Well...I have a craptastic prefab box that's to small for them, so might as well be box less!) Don't do that craigslist box, hold off till you can get help with the box build! IMO Come to find out, the design I came up with isn't up to par. (port wise that is.) Sooo....I need to go back an re figure! BTW....sorry to hear about the laid off thing....been there!

  4. From the math im doin hes only gettin 40sq in of port, he needs close to 100-120 lottsa port noise in ur future try widening the port ull have to play with the length too until u hit the tuning u like put it up again but idk if i would go with this design just my .02

pls correct me if im wrong.....

Nah man....I'm sure ur right, that's why asked about them. I plugged the #s in, and the figures you see above is what was calculated! Got something better in mind? How do I achieve the 100-120 sq you are suggesting? Maybe I got some #s X-ed up!

  5. Glad to see I am not alone! 'blue86f150' : " I have it recording right now cause i just got out of class. So dont say anything. "

'BanginOnABudget' : " i did not see him killing ben at ALL (like, ahead of time) totally f'ing shocked me. "

Hope he didn't read that before he got to watch! As far as the "time travel" goes, IDK!?! I look at other sites, to see what all the CRAZY fans have to say about it....man, some of these people get DEEP! LOL

  6. i dont know how many times ive bought the rearview mirror adhesive kits from the parts house, ive tried every different one and cant find a damn thing to keep it up there, i'll glue it up there, leave the metal button up there with no mirror for like 5 days, then put the mirror up there, and it still comes off after like a day of riding around listening to the system :censored:

anybody know something that would work?

    im thinking 2 part epoxy?

Clean the glass with alcohol, hit the metal button,& glass with a piece of finishing sand paper, and get a tube of this :

Got it @ AUTOZONE, can't remember the brand, but it WORKS!! Put mine back on a year ago, and it DON'T move.

  7. I'm scared of those things. I'm hiding out in the other room right now. Hopefully I can figure out how to give them a nice home :D

Plus they are way heavier than I thought. UPS said 28 lbs but those things are monsters. I can't imagine what the 15's weigh or the L7 models

I have 2 15 cvrs....just them alone weigh as much as the 2 12 comps, & the pro box I had them in! Why did you decide to get them?
