Get a set of 6.5 comps that you can pour some good clean power on and you will be happy. With that being said you're gonna have to look further than Cadence.

I would do comps if I didn't play the subs much and If I did play the subs a lot I would do a Damn good set of full ranges front and rear.

Old School is better.

If your rear fill is too much louder than your front stage its going to kill the effect. If its set up right it can help widen your front stage but its not necessary. Best thing is to keep it simple with just the front stage.

Have you tried Linear?

I have yet to see a person with knowledge of deadener say eD's deadener is any good. I never said it was any good. Just putting that knowledge out there. I have 50sqft of it right now just cause but havent used it because I'm not about to get out there in 100+ degree heat and the only shade being inside my car... That's the best time to put it in.

Now remove the tape snap the front cover on and you're done.

Now place your needle at the 12 o'clock position and press into place. Then turn them to the marks you made earlier. Make sure its not real easy to turn because you want the stepper motor at its stopping point as you move it into place.

Now snap your back cover back on.

I charge $100 to fix the problem gauge and $150 for a total rebuild. Stepper motors are usually around $5 each unless you buy in bulk.

Now you can place the board back into the front trim. Don't forget to plug your message center harness back up if you have one.

Now install your new stepper motor and solder onto place.
