  1. Haha i dont know what i was saying earlier im tired. I would be double baffling the top which wouldnt effect the port because its on a different side. i was cornfused...

If you cant tell by the drawing its subs up port middle back

  2. so i make 2- port pieces?

cvx yeah i plan to do resin 45's and no other bracing because im doing a double baffle. baffle isnt counted for because its on the outside and will make it so the subs are "flush" with box and where the port is ill be 45ing the 2nd baffle if that makes sense.

  3. For this application I would suggest going with Spectrum and either roller it on or spray it on (of course masking would need to be done). I was able to use a a fairly large (2mm) tip with an HVLP gun and it produced a very smooth finished surface. So that is always a pliability (you may need to thin the Spectrum down a little bit for it to flow through the gun).

As for painting over Spectrum, not a problem. You just need to allow it to fully cure. An adhesion promotor or primer never hurts.

Like Emp suggested, Firewall would be a good solution because it's pure white, but I don't remember the last time they had any in stock.

so i cant go to a autobody shop and have it colorcoded to vehicle? Darn

  4. port area per foot is 13.62

    Net Volume is 7.81cuft

    Tuning Freq is 33.4z

I want to add another 3/4" mdf on top of the enclosure to make subs flush and 45 deg angle all corners and resin inside then carpet it black. My question is this box usable? could i get a cutsheet and is it possible to get away with using only one sheet of 3/4 mdf.

  5. I want to get a few gallons of the Spectrum to use as a rock guard on the bottom 10" of my white vehicle body. I was wondering if it can be color coated to match and what product would be best for doing this the sludge or regular. I also want to spray or roll on some in the back hatch and floor of my blazer. Any idea of how much i would need for a few layers? thanks

  7. Here are some of the products i was looking into for my budget build. I was looking at the DDR3 2000 by G.Skill but dont know how much of a benefit it would be versus what i have selected looking for 8g to begin with but will end up with 16gb total ram. Im a total computer newb so i would like to know if there's anything im missing and compatibility issues?! I would also like someone to suggest a video card for 120-150.00 with a hdmi slot for my monitor. thank you for any help and i have a friend that can put it all together.
