went and checked it cold now after engines been off for 45minutes. 16 with engine off 18 with engine on. the other reading was warm

Another thing to think about is its 20 degrees out doesnt that cause voltage to be higher then usual

Id love to be able to do that but i need vehicle for work. And thats a 150 install plus uninstall then reinstalling new alt again. This is gonna cost some dough i dont have.

My new battery reads 14.4 with engine off with it running 16.15 stable with heater on max and radio. This is after running 30minutes. It this safe on a 12 volt system or what? This is my daily ride. Battery is a D4800 XS Power and a Mechman 270xp vehicle is Ford Escape XLT 2.3 lr 4 cyl

The air ducts and flapper vents. Flapper vents are there so when your door shuts your ears don't pop. Which I know other parts of the car has these also. I was planning on sealing the taillights with a sealant other then spectrum on the outside then on the inside spectrum where needed. I can see small cracks between panels right now. Its kinda unsettling putting thousands of electrical equipment in a trunk that leaks and getting rid of exhaust noise would be a bonus

I have a newer body style mustang which trunk area leaks. I was curious if taping over holes/cracks and spraying spectrum inside the entire trunk is a good idea with vents and such being covered. I know for a fact the trunk lid itself isn't the problem.

From what i remember my Q's liked big boxes tuned low. i would shoot for 15 cubes tuned to 30ish hz. A 2500 to 3000 watt amp for the pair is more then enough for daily. Perfect amp = Sundown 2500 or Rockford T2500bdcp imho
