I've got a Rockford t10001bd rated at 1000 @ 1ohm more like 1400@1 ohm. Works perfectly.. upgraded to the T20001bd so the smaller one must go. Let me know if you are interested.

My entire system is wired with there wire.If you are needing wire to complete the big 3 hit up scottiej he sells kits for the big 3 and he has them crimped with ring terminals on them already . I ended up getting 5 pieces (about 15ft total)of 1/0 gauge from him for my big 3 ..he charged me $36 to my door..shipped quick too paid him on tuesday and my wires were at my door by thursday

So I finally made time today to lok at everything . I double checked the wiring and there was nothing frayed or pinched.so i decided to take the Rockford t1000 . I replaced it with a rockford 500.2 using all the same wiring that i was using for the t1000 and as soon as I gave the 500.2 power i got BASS. it powered up and worked just fine. ....So the t1000 definately has internal damage to it.. Anyone knw of repair services for this thing?
-
first thing that popped into my mind was a strand of power wire grounding out somewhere on the body of the car or frayed wires on the amp battery terminals touching ground and + together
I guess first thing in the morning I will double check the wire from front to back to make sure is okay....

Oh, for some reason I though it was a T1500. My bad. I fail at reading... But if he drove the amp into clipping, it could blow the fuse. Not likely, but maybe.
the gain was set to the lowest point on the amp and onthe bass knob the HZ was also set low to about 40... I was planning on tuning it by ear but as soon as it saw power the fuse at the amp burned. I bought it used from someone on another forum. Does anything looked messed up in the pictures from original post?
-
On the amp or inline? And 150 is a bit small considering those Rockford amps do about 2000 RMS. What size power wire are you running?
The amp came with a 150 in it and the specs call for it as well. The wire is 1/0 gauge and the fuse on the power line is 250
-
Is it blowing fuses on the amp or on the inline power wire on going to the amp?
the amp fuse is a 150 which blew twice the one under the hood is a 250 that one didnt blow but it did get red
-
Can anyone see anything on the board that may be causing this? I can't see anything burned or smell anything burned onit :

box is wrapped in gray vinyl; first time working with it also, box is heavy as shit. trunk is sound deadened, run of 1/0 and 4 gauge was run from front to back. This build is going super slow being that I haven't had to much time to work on things.have to raise the box about an inch so that i can make a trim ring for the amps , that way it can be somewhat flush with the bottom of the box

Looks pretty damn good to me man. FG is a bitch to lay. Good job man. Looks better than my kicks right now. lol. What you using to cover those ugly ass holes and whats your plan for finishing.
i figured the jelly was the best option since it was the first time. I ended up using one qt. of it for both kick panels each kick got one layer on the outside of the stretched shirt and one layer on the inside. i was suprised that I still had some left over.
I am throwing in a set of diamond audio 6.5's. Right now they are running off deck power and are in the doors. once in the kicks they will be run off a rockfors 300.2
-
after reading up on it i decided to give it a try. i ended up getting the jelly resin not the liquid. I mixed it and applied it to the stretched t-shirt by brush. Once dry, I knocked it down with some 60 grit. reapplied a thinner coat of filler, knocked that down with 120 grit. I primed it just to make it easier to see imperfections. I used glaze filler then knocked it down 320 grit.

Get more power and upgrades your electrical. Just to let you now Kicker sub don't like 35 hz and below.
i have a yellow top under the hood, big 3 is done, also powermaster 200 amp alt. Think these should help me out some
-
that is definately the plan for the future. I am going to give these things more power for sure but i need to get the $$$ rightI would get a bigger amp or atleast 2 of the one you have to run 4. -
Looks good man. But Why did you tune so high? J/W.
I did not design the box. It was designed for me using the parameters of the speaker
-
box is 7ft^3 @ 42 hz, this is the first ported box I built:
