Well since i cant find a 4th hifonics 1606d im going to attempt to buy either 1 amp thats .5 ohm stable or 2 nice amps to power both subs. I dont have tons and tons of cash so i cant just out and buy a t4000d or sundown 4500. So please be realalistic. If you know if any good amps that arent killers on your pocket please let me know. Ive been looking at soundtsream 6500. But i still haven't gotten a price from the dealers around me. I want to run AROUND 3k rms to each sub. 12volt system. All electrical is upgraded. So we are good there. Thanks Doug This would also be a good topic to save, once its done, so that we can resort back to it if we ever want to see other options.

Yeah they are way different. I emailed mike at maxxsonics and they are wayy tooo different. So thats out of the question. Thanks tho. Now id love to just buy this one. BUT in this years model they had 2 models of the amp. v.1 and v.2. .1 is the one im looking for. its 2 70 x amp fuses. But the ones on ebay are all v.2 with 80 amp fuses that say "refurbished". Sucks. I found one in ATL but i live in central/north florida and not worth driving 6 hours for an amp that might be beat to hell or the wrong one. Thanks tho.. Still looking. ill pay 170 for this amp shipped. I only paid 110 for the other 3

It only effects the sub if u have too little and they cant "breathe" causing your subs to counteract with each other. ie less output

Amps and batteries arent staying the way they are much longer. Trying to find 2 more of these amps to run 4 of them on the level 5. 2 strapped to each coil. Batteries will be cleaned up. Just have to figure out best way. Probally going on darvex to order some terminals tomorrow but i dont know just yet. and about the numbers? I live in St Augustine, if you dont have a 4x4 jacked up truck u dont fit in. So no one has a TL or a meter that reads over 135 LOL Doug

Im looking for 2 more of these amps, I bought the 2 i have now off of w87will back in feb but i need 2 more. And of course i want them all to match so the need to be the older black ones with chrome side plates. Looking for them by next weekend. now when they say dont mix match, they mean dont run 2 different subs together or power them each with a different amp. You can always use say a rockford amp on a pair of jl, or any sub. Get what im saying? Doug

i have a lvl 5 in an envoy xl. Sub up port back was loudest for me. thats my vote.
