  1. I ask this because im about to buy my frens DLS n when i test it, with 3/4 volume, the gain on the amplifier gain is nearly full. N im affraid this can cause distortion in the front sound stage. This DLS is rarely use since he bought it....

  2. either of the ways you suggested you will get about the same power.

this is what i found for your amp

Dynamic Power Rating (measured at 14.4V):

    Bridged Into A 4-Ohm Load: 435 watts x 1

    Per Channel Into A 2-Ohm Load: 217 watts x 2

    Per Channel Into A 4-Ohm Load: 150 watts x 2

Continuous Power Rating (measured at 13.8V):

    Bridged Into A 4-Ohm Load: 400 watts x 1

    Per Channel Into A 2-Ohm Load: 200 watts x 2

    Per Channel Into A 4-Ohm Load: 100 watts x 2

    is it in RMS ?

  3. 4ft would be ok for the power you have you would probably need it anyway and if you want to take it easy on your electrical system wire the subs bridged at 4ohm

i have the dimension here, correct me if its off <_<

    box, h:16" w:40" d:15"

    port, h:5" w:5 h:12

btw, when u say wire the sub bridge at 4 ohms, wire the subs to 8 ohm then combine them both to get 4 ohms rite?
