I ask this because im about to buy my frens DLS n when i test it, with 3/4 volume, the gain on the amplifier gain is nearly full. N im affraid this can cause distortion in the front sound stage. This DLS is rarely use since he bought it....

how does it sound quality wise? any good?

Any1 here use a DLS RA-40 reference series amplifier? I just wanna know if its worth to buy... How it sound n quality? Thanks in advance for the input

i have the dimension here, correct me if its off box, h:16" w:40" d:15" port, h:5" w:5 h:12 btw, when u say wire the sub bridge at 4 ohms, wire the subs to 8 ohm then combine them both to get 4 ohms rite?

so which 1 do u suggest? this is my daily drive car... n i like em loud when i need it too

with the dimension u gave, thats around 3 ft3 of volume rite? what if i make it a 4ft3 volume? and who do i wire this dual? wire them to 4ohm and bridge it or wire each sub to 2 ohms to each channel?

can i make it bigger or change the dimension, i have a space measured up, the maximum i can put in the back is W:40" H:17" D:21"... i was thinking of making a diamond shaped port. btw, what do u think about the amp i use, will that do the job?

its a toyota innova.... a SUV i think... the woofer is dual coil each 4 ohms....

i have a 2 x JL audio 12v3 dual coil.... any1 here use this subwoofer? and box wise, how do i get the most out of this subwoofer? btw this sub will be powered by a kicker kx400.2.... thanks for the help
