Well at the show yesterday I was running the ADV2 class. Power limit was 4000. I was like no problem my 3500 should be able to stay under 4k. Well I was wrong, I endded up clamping at 4206... I love these sundown amps.. Only thing I forgot to get was what kind of rise I was getting to determine the load the amp was seeing. I am not going to say what I have it wired to
, but the rise cant be that much. That is all I am going to say..GREAT PRODUCTS

depends on what you classify whats enough.
If it was me, then that would be enought for the trunk only.
If you wanted to do the trunk, floor, roof and all the doors then no that would not be enough.

Not gonna make the show on the 21st. Work Schedule changed and no Friday shows for at least a month or two.

Hopefully I will be adding a second 3500 to the mix later this year... So the trunk will be in a constant state of change for the next couple of months.
Also hoping to get 2-3 more dBs out of this set up. Since the port is removable I will be makeing 2-3 more to get a better idea on what the car wants.
Now if only i can get the roof from looking like a wave pool and sounding like ass.
I have only layer of deadener on it already.. -
Well since about Dec I have been ordering equipment to get this build off.. Well it is 87% done now and at least playing. Still have some tuning to do and some trim work but over all I am VERY impressed so far. Went to a show on Saturday and it ended up getting shut down before I could hit the lanes. no idea on what kind of power the SAZ3500 is giving the 6 SA12's. Unoffically we got a 152 on our lab. Box was tunes to 31 so not to bad. Here are a couple of teaser pics. Trying to get some time to shoot some video's, other then with our cell phones.

Thats a Friday show if I rememmber corectly. I had all the Pittsburg shows on my list to attend till I just heard my work schedule changed and I wont get off till 4:30 now. ^%#^%)_%_%%^$%^( Might try to cut out earily.

As far as the BL would be concerned I would for sure go with cooling and daily. The universal from what i gathered just means if you get a D2 version and later down the road want to conver it to a D1 you can. But if you think you will never need to then why get it. (my opion) A single D2 will allow you to run a mono style amp at 1ohm.
As already stated The big 3 (1/0) would be a very good idea with a second battery in the back. I wouldnt look at alternators yet untill after the big 3 is done and you have played it for a bit and see what your voltage is doing.
I would say build a box that is right around 3.5 tunes to 38hz. Be different try 38Hz and dont follow everyone else.
I would try to keep the power between 1200-1500, mine seem to like and perform the best around 1400. -

So today is bring your kid to work day here is Kansas City. Not sure if it is all over the states or not. Any one else taking there kid to work with them or has taken there kid to work with them?
I go in at 6am so we were up at 5 and that is about 2 hours sooner then he usally is up, so should be an intersting day.

So I just got the last sub today, been jacking around with Fed Ex for the past two days... Would like to thank DJ and Jacob
for working with me getting all the equipment. I do plan on adding a second 3500 and strapping them together to run the 6 SA12's.

Nope I am pushing my equipment past normal circumstances and if anythings fails its all my fault.. But thats also why I am running Sundown, they equipment is tough as nails..
