  1. Thanks for clearing that up. I will be regaining my amps then..
  2. Since the 2500's have the distortion detector built into it i have always used it to set the amps up. Hover now that I have my DD-1 the amps show distortion before the DD-1 does. Should i be going off the amp's or the DD-1's.
  3. If you are talking about a burp score its not that hard if you put some time into the build. I was doing a 149.3 with 2 BL 15's and 3k in my truck and that was with no testing on it at all... if you are talking about music, that may be slightly harder to do. But to honestly answer your questions, if you take your time and build it correctly with the right power and electrical it's not really hard.
  4. thats the older version. the newer 1000.1 is not as tall.. They are some good amps.. just did a install with two of them..
  5. I have been running my car with several different walls in it and never had issues. But i do have my two outside mirrors. I have heard that driver side port is the best but alot of those people are mainly burping in my opinion. I listen to music so I play music and my personal prefference is putting the port in the middle somehow, vertical or horizontal.
  6. Very interesting, you had me on the edge of my seat... Up till the last sentence, now your just another cool guy with a "cool story"...

  10. I am currently running 2 saz1500's, untill my 4th one is fixed tehn I will be useing 4 saz1500's
  11. I have been told by several people while doing my box for my 4 sa15's to go with 2.75 per and around 14" per port per cube. hope it helps
  12. I would go with 12 cubes and around 140-150" of port tuned around 34-35. I was running my 6 sa 12's in box to those specs and it worked fine. I have a build log on here with the set up. I tried tuning from 28 up to 44 and port size from 88" up to 196, and the 140-150" of port tuned around 34-35 seem to work the best. But I also was only running a single SAZ3500 on the so a bit less power..
