What ohm load do you have the amp wired at? Have you checked the ground at the amp, have you checked the battery terminals to make sure you have good contact?

I agree with LowBlueRanger about the subs we used to sell the hell out of them back in the day. However they are quite old and my have been road hard and put away wet so be careful. The package seems fair priced and if the gear looks solid I would go for it.

I agree with what has been said about the Focal Access line, that their a little bright but with proper placement can really be stunning for the price. I install these speakers at our shop quite frequently and really enjoy them. I have to say that I'm a bigger fan of the Polyglass line but thats just me, if you get a chance I recommend you take a listen.
