I think it was on one of the LuvChat interviews the host was telling Steve that his car is like standing by a jet engine and Steve was like no thats way different that could injure without proper hearing protection theres a difference between 150+ db's at 30-40hz than 150+ at 1000hz.

thats what I like to hear. I am expecting some kind of big numbers from the 2 door do you have a build on here? I'm starting to look at all different types now to see what I am getting myself into and to give myself ideas.

I don't know the previous models but those are old body style. new body style starts mid to late 2000 and goes all the way to 2006. theres also a subcategory for some parts that goes 00-02 then 03-06 but thats a different story. if you have seen nyman's hoe thats the dash I'm dealing with. actually 98HOEONSIXEZ look at his dash.

well they only made the 2 doors for a few years... like I said I haven't found one yet but it will probably be 98-99 if I'm lucky

when anything breaks no matter how old or useless I always feel like shit haha just my nature. 4x4's do use up more gas but I'm pretty sure thats only when you are using 4x4. plus the 2 door is a little more compact so it should save on gas.

finally get to see a nice looking GMC new body style seems a lot are just stuck stock. props man. I like the install too

thanks I try really hard to pay attention to detail and create something that will last rather than bust it out and have it break and then re make something to fix it. I'm leaning towards older vehicle and cash to play. I have the 4x4 right now and dropping it isn't difficult with products today hell a guy on the tahoe forum has a 5/5 drop on his 4x4 denali. like I said I have been meaning to start fresh since I have a lot more knowledge and experience than I did with the current system.

for real. I don't know the EQ doesn't work with my alpine cda-9884 but my friend has a pioneer that plugs in the bottom that he controls through the ipod

the 4x4 is something I don't really care for that much. I would use it to go snowboarding though. and my plan for the 2 door is to do a clamshell with x amount of woofers. this means I only have to worry about the front stage and when I design it I will be mounting 6x9's on the top row of the clam glassing isn't too hard and I have always wanted to try doing a full custom door but was always afraid of ruining the newer hoes doors. ... decisions, decisions

I'm down for whatever to make money but its difficult during these times so I am trying to do my best at my current job instead of spreading my hard work and making each job so so. I have considered taking up a second job at best buy

if you can control your ipod through the deck via the pin connector the EQ won't matter. it its through the head phone jack then make sure you turn it off. also download audacity for free and check your songs that you think are louder than others for clipping. its really easy just go to view and view clipping and all the clipped portions will be red.

maybe its just because after having so much nice stuff over the years I have finally had to struggle and its hard for me to see me paying this car off and being happy. I am not very satisfied with the system I have which is making me think of ways to upgrade but knowing that I can't possibly afford it bursts my bubble quick. I'm a dreamer but there is a certain point where I stop dreaming and start thinking of ways of making it a reality.

that is true but at the same time if something does happen to my current tahoe I cannot fix it because my car payment would take up the money I would spend on it. if something happens to the 2 door I could use my paycheck to fix it. and thanks

I don't know I was just looking around at prices and stuff but that is definitely on my mind when I look at cars. it shouldn't be much worse than what I have since I put on a lot in a short amount of time.

my tahoe has 115k on it and I bought it last year with 93k its the first night that I have really considered doing this so thats why I posted up to get some other opinions. I haven't slept on it yet... EDIT: that is another reason to start fresh because my current tahoe is not BLACK it is off black if you know what I mean and it just doesn't look right. its also a 4x4 so I would get a lot of shit for lowering it. I only like intense lifts on SUV's otherwise I'm lowering it and putting rims on it

Lately I have been having problems agreeing on payments for my current Tahoe with my parents. my parents paid for the car in full and I have to pay it off in full eventually. I only get a certain amount of hours per paycheck and it hasn't really changed it fluctuates from 40-50 hours in 2 weeks which is when I get paid. the problem is my parents want 60% of it and the rest is mine for 2 weeks. Tahoes are gas guzzlers so most of the money is being spent on gas which leaves me none left to save for upgrades on my car whether it be rims, suspension, interior, audio etc... I went searching on CraigsList and found a 2 door Tahoe so I started looking into them and I'm liking the potential if I sell my current Tahoe I would get the money I spent on it and I would put it towards this 2 door and then it would be very easy to pay off the rest and start spending on upgrades the hard part is letting go of my first car help a brotha out give me some opinions I would black it out
