What do you mean you have a brain for your indash and interior amp? you have more than one amp? I need some more details. I'll bet you anything your ground came loose, doesn't seem like you want to check that though...ha

Could be bad RCA's but I doubt it, just check your grounds, make sure its on bare metal and the connection is solid. If its not that, check everything for cuts or pinches. Also, unplug your rca's and see if the humming stops

Did you check your ground? Maybe when you took the corner something moved or pulled and it came loose? Just my .02

I need to find ring terminals with bigger than usual holes in the center, anyone know where I can find them with a hole bigger than 3/8'?

i bought my CCX's from him, the box it came in was cut out of Styrofoam so the speakers weren't damaged at all I thought that was cool. Stand up guy, great communication.

Another question I have is how do you cut a perfect circle out? When we did my friends box my girlfriends father did it with some type of saw, It came out good but it wasnt perfect. I do have a router but is there some sort of bit I can buy or something I can do to ensure a perfect cut?

Im barely running 1kw so I think the 12g should be fine for my application. the predrilling is to stop the screws from splitting the wood and sink into it better...self tappers would split the hell out of mdf i would think..but no ive never tried it Those I was told to stay away from at all costs

Yes pretty much except they have the push terminals on both sides, like they are connected into eachother, I wish I could post the picture from that thread but it isnt my work and I dont have his permission. Unless they are on there and I missed them though..

It won't hurt, I think people here prefer coarse threaded, but I don't know that it matters.. Pre-drill if you are splitting wood, 3/4" and up you shouldn't have to if your centered and stay a few inches off the edge. We did pre-drill that was the weird part. Im going to stay farther away from the edges this time. Yeah, plenty of glue is what im going for haha THATS IT! I want to do that but I feel like I am in NO WAY capable of it haha, they came out real nice. Thanks for all the reply's guys.

Would drywall screws be a bad idea? Last time we built the box we ran into a few edges splitting but I'm not really sure what type of screws we were using.

Yeah, I do NOT want to do those at all. Im searching on google now trying to find those push connectors, the way the guy did it on here looked really cool, I just cant seem to find JUST the connectors without them already being in one of those cheap plastic ones.

Yeah I may do it, not sure yet. Any suggestions on how to do the terminals? Someone on here did a push-pin style terminal on both side of the box and it looked awesome, I cant find the thread but I would love to do that.
