  1. no probs with the motor staying stretched out all the time??
  2. your Yuk should have the factory air ride suspension (autoride) in the back. you should hear the compressor run briefly every time you start up the engine. if so, and everything works correctly = u should have no probs towing almost anything. i have 305/35/24s on my Yuk and never had a rubbing problem towing boats, lawn trailers, whatever! 26s arent too much taller. PLUS it depends ALOT on the offset of your wheels too!
  3. tried the grill thing, they didnt protect much. but probably a design flaw
  4. yep, i'd love to wall it off with some 15's, but it's a work truck
  5. OK, I gotta have some funk in my work truck. So I've got on of those pre-fab forward-firing boxes under the rear seat. BUT, I am on my third set of subs due to crap hittin them, and from the kids kickin em when they gotta ride with me. I've been lookin at the down-fire type boxes to stop this little dilemma. But I know that the sub just "hangin" around all the time isnt good for the motor structure. I am currently runnin 2 L7 10s, but thinking about steppin up to a couple ??(brand)12s. I want some good, loud bass, but am not sure how having the subs firing at the floor will affect volume. It's bad enough that my front-fire setup is beatin right into the back of the front seats! So, besides the obvious of not havin the kids in the truck, anybody got any ideas, suggestions, or comments.
  6. YES, these are 5x4.75. You can find wheels with this bolt pattern anywhere!!!! The new Dodge cars are 5x4.5, so most wheel manufacturers are double-drilling their wheels with these two patterns. You should have NO PROBLEMS finding the wheels you want for your Blazer!!
  7. dude, 22s are sick on blazers!! my bro has a 4 door with a 6" drop on all 4 corners with 255/30/22 tires. if you're gonna keep yours at stock height, you should be able to run the 265/35/22s with no problem, or maybe a 265/30/22.
