Hey guys, Im looking for a part-time job. Im a college student living in Cincy looking for something to do on the weekends and week nights. Im not picky on what I do. I have some car audio experience. Mostly wiring radios, systems and building simple enclosures for myself. I also have experience in auto detailing. Tis what I do. Go to Harbor Freight and buy their $10 heat gun. Its leaps and bounds above trying to use a blowtorch <= never again

^^^This. I was going to go with one 6 incher but I couldnt get a 10 foot section in my car so I bought a 5 ft section of 4 inch and used 2 ports instead of one.

^^^^This. I made my own 4 inch aeros. The process takes a bit to get down but once you have your process figured out it work very nicely.

Im getting my old Type-R back from my friend and Ive got the box from my Z15 sitting here wasting space. I need the manual for the SWR-1522D or just a list of T/S parameters. I searched on Alpines website and they dont have the manual listed anymore. I just chucked the original box for it a few weeks ago when I was cleaning so can anyone help me out?

Can I even get an SAZ-1000D anymore. Its not listed on the Sundown site......... If I still had my Z15 I wouldve sold it and bought something bigger. But I dont think my ID12 would like that much power

It does but i have nowhere near me that does anodizing as far as Im aware. I live in the middle of nowhere. dB-r couldnt help me either

Maybe Ill shoot dB-r an email and see if they have some parts laying around. I really think itll be difficult to get the finish to match if I get in re-anodized. The polished idea does sound interesting. I pretty much scratched it all the way across the top across the silver part. Missed the logo I think. I havent looked at it in a few weeks because it bothers me so much. Spent so much time making sure that didnt happen and it did anyways. Thanks guys!

In theory it should help the voltage drop stituation. Lets say youre at charging at 14.0 without a load or MLA and youre seeing a drop of 1.5 volts putting you at 12.5. Id imagine if you bumped the original voltage up to 14.9 it would drop 1.5 volts to 13.4 volts. Maybe Im off but thats what it seems like in my head at least. Your amperage would be any better but it would keep your amps above the low voltage danger level.

Anyway to get a new heatsink for my SAZ-1000D? I scratched it pretty bad from one side to the other while moving. Kinda kills my plans for my new amp rack since I have one nice 50.4 and a scratched 1000D I cant really repaint it since the finish would hard to do. Thanks!

I have for sale my Z15. Im getting out of SPL. Tired of not having a trunk and dealing with all of the local BS. But thats a different story. Haha. The sub is in almost brand new condition. Its been installed for about 11 months and has only been used for rear fill for about the last 4 so it only saw 1000 daily for 7 months. The coils and everything look perfect. Hell it even still smells new, which surprised me. Rated at 1000 RMS and has served me well. Price is $200 obo. Ill work out shipping with buyer. Also interested in trades for an EQ or an iDQ (or any other legit SQ sub). Thanks for looking!
