the tire side thickness will depend on the tire you end up getting, google tire calculator and it should tell you how much side wall you will end up with...it wont be perfectly on the measurement because again depending on the tire you go with you will have alittle difference.

i have a few sets from ddmtunning.com the only problem ive had was a bad ballast, NO BIG DEAL TO ME! just sent it back and they sent me a new one, havent had a problem ever since.
for the price def worth the wait since they ship them from over seas now.

only thing i can think of it so carefully sand away and polish the parts that where not black to begin with, might not look the exact same as the first picture but it will still give you that two tone look
im pretty sure the center cap on those wheels is metal too so you can polish it the same way

i walled of my 98 2dr integra, on the front half and rear half we bolted some 2x4's to the car itself, then bolted the wall to that. im pretty sure i did a good job on it because when I DID flip my car the box didnt move and seems like it kept the room from crushing any more
just make sure you DONT SCREW INTO THE GAS TANK!you can kinda see them here
